England players are fine when they have a sprinkling of quality foreign players around them in their club sides but put them all together in the same international team and they seem utterly clueless. One observation about this tournament, even though I'm judging it on TV. As someone who applied for tickets twice and didn't get a sniff, it is good to see stadia which seem to be packed to capacity, and mainly with national team supporters rather than neutrals, corporates and football tourists (like me :-)). It sounds like they got the ticket allocations right and it is making for some great atmospheres. As I say, only my impression from my armchair!

The atmosphere in the grounds has been incredible. I guess part of it is it’s easy to travel to Germany for most of the nations there so seems great support for most nations. Just makes the pain of Wales missing out even worse, would love to have partied with the Dutch orange fans and would have been our 2nd game against Austria today.Quote:
