In the end, she decides that it isn't the same as the Hilary Clinton case because of the following questions "Was it a private email server? What was the the content emails? Was she trying to hide anything? What was her intent? Did she permanently deletes any of the emails?". Ivanka is satisfied that she has adhered strictly to the rules, she does not merit being locked up like Hilary does and all is well with the world again.
Trouble is, the White House is now saying that the truth is that she simply didn't know the rules for such situations. I've no reason to disbelieve this, but would say that, given the Hilary Clinton precedent, you would have thought a savvy "adviser" to the President would have checked to confirm that she was doing nothing wrong by behaving as she did - the fact that she, apparently, didn't says a lot about both her judgement and her father's in appointing her in the first place.
I think a special counsel is required to investigate Hillary and Ivanka. What say you on this matter? Are we in agreement?

This was such a stupid thing to do in view of the HRC scandal, it makes you wonder if it was deliberate to get the email server topic back at the top of focus. I wouldnt trust any of them, all swamp just different swamps, following Trumps Twitter is entertainment in itself. It's all deliberate trolling surely? And almost impossible to see how it will resolve. I have doubt that Thump will even run in 2020

Marge: You didn't wanna have Bart.
Homer: I know, but you're never supposed to tell the child.
Marge: You tell Bart all the time. You told him this morning.
Homer: But when I do it, it's cute.

I'm going to give that theory a likelihood of 0% and it wouldn't be so high if I wasn't in a good mood.

Well, seeing as I've said I wouldn't be surprised if Hilary Clinton and her husband were crooked stacks of times on here, I wouldn't have a problem with that. They may well find Ivanka was guilty of nothing more than stupidity as well, but you appear to have a problem with that, presumably because of her surname.

There should be one rule of law that applies to everybody

Re: The Donald Trump thread
It looks like all the Ivanka emails have already been placed in the presidential record. It's not illegal to use private email, as long as long as no classified information is transmitted, and all emails are recorded in the presidential record. The Hillary case is totally different, she sent classified information, deleted emails, and smashed computer equipment.

Sorry, the competition was 30 words or less and we can only accept one entry

Donnie having a meltdown on twitter yesterday. Berating other countries contributions to NATO amongst other angry outpourings as he sat on his gold loo.
Coincidentally he did this the same day Russia and Ukraine had a spat.
Funny that.

Talking of gold loos, George Clooney has got it so right here;-

The article makes a fair point when it talks about the left's attitude to people who support the likes of Trump and Johnson, but I still struggle to comprehend how they can be seen as "having the common touch".

He's also called for a US state run TV channel to be broadcast around the world to spread propaganda, just like Russia Today does. He's obviously forgotten that barely a month ago he had Fox's two highest profile cheerleaders on stage with him at rallies, in addition to the daily work they do pumping out pro-Trump rubbish.

Indicted for what? Russian collusion? There are still more twists and turns ahead, some of the people on Trump's campaign team were double dealing from the inside.

People on his team have been indiected and found guilty of criminal offences. End of and all your swerbing and bluster can’t change that fact.
You’ve incorrectly predicted for months that something big is going to happen with all your sealed (salivating even) and absolute nowt has.
Face facts you’ve been had.

Well, as you know, I'm not in charge of the timeline, but there are certainly some interesting things going on behind the scenes. This is an interesting read if you want a view from both sides .. https://www.tabletmag.com/jewish-new...ier-russiagate

That's certainly not true, however you may find that you're the one who's been had  Everything is tied up in a rather clever legal process, but the basis of what happened has been known for nearly two years already. Nothing has changed in that respect.

Ok accepting that there is a serious point in the message. Of those pictured behind bars, why do you think each/any of them should face criminal charges consistent with a custodial sentence?

WB - as you are apparently "focusing on today's news". Where are we with this one?

You mean Operation Crossfire Hurricane? People aren't allowed to comment officially on existing investigations, as it would be viewed as an obstruction of justice, so you will just have to go with the back channels for the time being.

I wasn't asking an official to comment officially. I was asking the person who breathlessly posted the meme who has no official capacity (that's you!) to back up the reason you posted it by identifying anyone on the Sergeant Pepper meme who should face a criminal charge and why. You have been alluding to all sorts for the best part of two years so fronting up now should not be too tricky for a political savant like you!
