Interesting debate on aamb yesterday about possible takeover
http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=152368
Seems Sam up to his old tricks then?
Maybe Day is right and tan will now look to run us on a par with other championship clubs re wage bill etc.....
Wouldn't have thought he is any rush to sell but who knows?
As for this takeover by a consortium led by Sam- as Karl pilkington would say- Bullshit!

Re: Interesting debate on aamb yesterday about possible takeover
Vincent or Sam. Hobson's choice

It still makes no sense.

Re: Interesting debate on aamb yesterday about possible takeover
D@ya speaks a lot of sense in that
-
Re: Interesting debate on aamb yesterday about possible takeover
Certainly more plausible than sam heading a consortium to buy him out!

Especially when he said Tan has a long term plan. I doubt he thinks about us at all !

I'd rather concentrate on what you did, which is use a phrase totally out of context because you don't know its meaning.

You think Sam or Vincent presents a real choice for us fans? I don't.

Clearly if there was a choice between Tan and Hammam (which I don't believe for a second, incidentally), then it would not be an example of Hobson's choice, as you suggested. A dilemma it may be, but Hobson's choice it is not.

Re: Interesting debate on aamb yesterday about possible takeover
As a 'choice' it would be closer to 'Morton's fork' IMO

Do you see any difference between hammam or tan?

Hammam did appear to at least have a human side.

You are talking about a choice between what you regard as two undesirable alternatives, which is a dilemma as opposed to Hobson's choice. But you can argue the merits of your gibberish with yourself for the rest of the day as I have tasks to perform, so I'll bid you good morning.

If you accept hammam and tan are cut from the same cloth then there is no choice.

Re: Interesting debate on aamb yesterday about possible takeover
You are all blowing hot air
Tan is into us for over £100M
Who is going to give him that at the moment
Sadly for the foreseeable future we are stuffed

(By the way, I would suggest that stating that someone else's opinion is 'gibberish' doesn't win an argument.)

That's about it. Frying pan or fire springs to mind.
