Re: Music Lovers ......getting rid of your cds ?
Believe me, don't bother. I've viewed his CD collection and I'd be amazed if a more egregious one has ever been compiled. Think of all the songs you regard as junk and they are almost certain to feature amongst what he's gathered.
Albums the like of the truly awful The Very Best of Chesney Hawkes is decent compared to virtually everything else that lurks in his CD racks.
Yet he can be aggressively dogmatic when defending his favourite artists. He refuses to acknowledge anything published by Barry Manilow is less than sublime.
Rick Astley is another one he won't tolerate criticism of. "Rick Astley," I said to him once, "Rick fecking Ghastly more like. How can you listen to that shite?!" He sulked for a good 20 minutes afterwards.
What a rotter that guy is!

If you're selling that deluxe CD edition of the Cheeky Girls with the nude photos I'll give you 50p.

Sold mine to Kelly's Records about 10 years ago (or more), about £1 a CD on average. Might be worth getting in touch with them (if they're still there that is!).

Kelly's are quite generous compared to Music Magpie and Ziffit who sometimes offer about 10-20p if anything. The only other option not listed yet is to sell them individually on ebay. You can check on discogs to see how much each one is going for.

Re: Music Lovers ......getting rid of your cds ?
CDs have little value, unless they are some really rare item. Most CDs are by the very nature mass-produced - there are hundreds, if not thousands out there.

Re: Music Lovers ......getting rid of your cds ?
Post a list up of what you're selling.
