What will you view as a successful season ?
I think finishing above the relegation zone by 4 places , suggesting a relatively stress free season
I thought I was going to end it all at several points in 2022 /2023
-
Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
10th and above is a success.
11th to 16th is the expectation.
17th and below is depressing.

Finishing just 4 places above the relegation zone does not equate to a relatively stress-free season.
In such a scenario, the likelihood is that at some point we'd have been below 4 places clear of the relegation zone.

I won’t argue with that

Bulut still the manager at the end of the season.
One or two younger players nailing down a first team place.
A big uptake on half season tickets at Christmas

Bulut still the manager at the end of October would be progress.

Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
Not being in the relegation mix throughout the season.
Managerial stability.
A vastly improved home record.
A quieter season for Eric and his stats machine - I don't want to hear of records for consecutive defeats, or games without scoring, or missed penalties.
Just a mediocre mid-table season will suit us nicely.
-
Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
Bulut still being manager with a bit of backing in January.

A steak and ale pie and a pint served at your seat for a fiver

Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
Goals, goals and more goals, with a decent striker getting somewhere in the region of 20 goals scored
Ending the season with the same manager that we started it off with.
Mid table mediocrity
At least one of the youngsters breaking into the team and staying there.
The total banning of, and any of the muppets getting a life time ban, for singing the vile 'Hymns and Arias' jacks song

Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
17th/18th/19th. I think that's where we are in relation to the other 23 teams. Probably between 5 and 7 worse sides than us. We've overall marginally improved but let's be honest, we're starting from a very low baseline. And....still not sure how Ramsey's going work in another season of attrition.

Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
Comfortable mid table finish having not been in a relegation battle at any point
No managerial changes
More goals, more home wins, more exciting football
At least one win over you know who
A platform to build on for the following season
-
Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
Looking for more exciting/entertaining football to watch with a a top 10 finish
-
Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
16th or above in the league.
Have a go in the Cups.
Some youngsters get noteable game time Colwill ×2, Evans, Ashford etc
The 4 out on loan; King, Davies, Denham and Davies loans prove to be a success and they return to the club better players ready to fight for a 1st team place.
We clear out some of the deadwood; Sawyers, Campbell, Zimba, Rinhomota and probably Ojo, Tanner, Adams, Alnwick, Romeo, Collins and Ugbo
McGuinness, Ng and Colwill all sign new long term contracts.
Grant and Bowlers loans are converted to permanent.
-
Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
Avoid relegation.
We should then be able to clear out more of Morisons signings have no embargo and be in a better position to rebuild next summer.
Finish 18th or above and keep the same manager and id say it would be hugely successful.
-
Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
I think comfortable in mid table and building on that for next season.
-
Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
Success top 6th
Happy with 14-6th
Disappointing 21st - 14th
Disaster bottom 3

It's this for me. I'd be happy with a boring mid-table season where we see the start of something positive being developed on and off the pitch.

That sounds a bit premature.

Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
play-off place for me
I think we are a No9 striker away from that
-
Re: What will you view as a successful season ?
We definitely need to get rid of the deadwood at some point
And that includes some of the players with .....potential
It's now or never

A fit Robinson will get us 20 goals if he's given the service

Sawyers is in the last chance saloon
And so is Colwill in my opinion
I think he should be proving he deserves a contract
