How to improve the stadium experience at CCS
Hopefully Wayne Nash is at Aston villa to get tips on improving the fan experience. As the pre match experience is so much better.
Fan zone, music, food outlets. Even portoloos.
The club shop is also on another level to us

Get some real ale in, and be able to pay with it using cash.

This thread again….Nash doesn’t care, he wants everyone to go home depressed.

Re: How to improve the stadium experience at CCS
if Nash had his way he'd have every single Cardiff fan arrested and sentenced to life in prison

Re: How to improve the stadium experience at CCS
We were in the North Stand tonight, overcrowded, uncomfortable, absolute shit ground. These old grounds, yes wonderful old stadia, but they’ve had their day. They were built when fans turned up 20 minutes before a game, went straight to their barrier, watched the game, stayed in their place at half time, and went back to the pub after the final whistle.
Give me our ground any time, plenty of space, wide concourses, comfortable.
Villa Park tonight was not an enjoyable place to watch football, whether up in the stand or below in the crush.

the crush on the north stand concourse was awful. i got to my seat about 7.10 and stayed there until the match finished. fab view from the stand and more comfortable when stood up because the rows were fitted in when men were 5'6 and not made for today's larger frame.
for a home end of a premier league ground i was surprised just how uncomfortable the concourse was. as you say steve, not meant for spending any time there, just passing through.

I value someone's opinion, like yourself, that goes to quite a lot of away games.
You have no agenda, you just tell it as you find it.
Yeah, those old grounds have character, but when you've become used to safe environments (like the CCS) you tend to be more aware of the potential hazards of these antiquated grounds.

Re: How to improve the stadium experience at CCS
My son was there last night and said the concourse was terrible.
The CCS is a really good stadium.
It's what's on the pitch is the issue.

Doesn't real ale have to be consumed in under a week once the keg has opened? Maybe not suitable for stadium sales and the few oldies and their one pint.😂

They should move the family stand up to the red seats…make that just for families….shift the away fans around into the family stand. Sack Nash, free pint with every ticket bought in the day….good start

A few goals and wins would help

Joking aside the club get a lot of stick but they allowed a large safe standing section from day 1 of the stadium opening in 2009. An entire end.
They were (probably illegally) explicit about allowing standing all game in the canton before the stadium had even opened.

You’d either have to increase the price of family and kids tickets or lower ticket prices in the Ninian.
A lot of fans wouldn’t be too pleased to be paying ~30% more for an adult ticket with a worse view.
