well! It's us so i'm going to with a 1-0 home win.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
I’m going for Vaulks sent off before half time
Colin will tell his players to wind him up, such an easy target
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
I have no cause for optimism but even the law of averages must lean towards at least a point?
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
Yes, my feeling is we will scrape a point. Warnock will be happy with that after a long week and tiring journey.
1-1

He's so reckless at times, I think there's a high possibility of him being targetted, as you said.

Fancy us today if MM sticks with the same team
1-0 bluebirds

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
Match facts
- Cardiff City are unbeaten in their last six league games against Middlesbrough (W4 D2) since losing 3-1 back in February 2016 under Russell Slade.
- Middlesbrough are winless in four away league matches against Cardiff (D1 L3) since a 1-0 win in 2014-15 and have only scored once in those four winless games.
- Cardiff have lost their last five home matches in all competitions, their worst losing run since October 1974, which was also a run of five. The Bluebirds have never lost six consecutive home matches in a row.
- Middlesbrough have failed to score in four of their last five away Championship matches (W1 D1 L3), winning the other 2-0 at Nottingham Forest. They haven’t failed to score in three consecutive away Championship matches since January 2015.
- In five away league matches at the Cardiff City Stadium, current Middlesbrough manager Neil Warnock is winless (D4 L1), with only Gary Rowett and Nigel Clough (six each) managing more there as an away manager without winning.

Collins starting so enjoy your retirement Mick

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
Eli King and Isaak Davies on the bench, think we’ve got a few injuries, but Moore is one of the subs.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
We must be one of the few teams where injuries can make us stronger.
It'll be interesting to see how Brown does at left back. Hopefully better than he does at left centre back or wing back.
What position does King play?

Mick is playing the players that he likes for a last hurrah. Our injuries must be concerning though. Would bet Isaak Davies gets game time

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
Brown is back in the starting eleven. Good grief.

King’s a central midfielder.

Brought in to improve our passing accuracy stats.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
You would think Moore would be the first name on the team sheet v a Warnock team.

You would have thought Moore would be the first name on the team sheet against any side

As a left back too 😩

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
No left back, unbelievable compared to where we’ve been in recent seasons.
Collins will score today. Honest

Collins double City win 2 - 1

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
The line up shows how weak our squad is.
Centre back at Lb.
Pack / Vaulks
But no Moore.!!!!
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
Surely Sol has to be their weak link?
No way can a 36 year old go through what he’s gone through and play 3 games a week. If he can bloody hell fair play to him

Letting Bennett leave was the right decision at the time.
Not having a suitable replacement is negligent
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
Bamba and Peltier in their defence - lack of pace but we don’t have any to exploit it
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
Leaving Moore out seems completely illogical especially as the manager is rumoured to be losing his job if we lose. Perhaps he's had enough and wants to be sacked or alternatively has been told his job is safe irrespective of the result. Moore's omission does seem ridiculous though irrespective of any logical reason especially when his replacement in Collins has been so poor.

Matt Crooks is a Warnock player all day long very surprised we never signed him

We’re getting out Cardiffed

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
Passive again.
Handing the initiative to the other team as we do on so many occasions. Midfield two just getting bypassed by the game.
Seems only a matter of time.
Leaving out your best striker when fit is unforgivable.
Mick probably happy we haven't conceded though. Game plan working so far.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH. Match thread
Everyone back defending yet they find space so easily

I said exactly the same about the performance on Weds: passive.

Feck off Sol. Trying to get Pack sent off there.
