Might be worth putting a few quid on the match being abandoned due to the weather...50/60mph gusts and a heavy dew.

A small price to pay for sovereignty
Although Johnson has confirmed post-Brexit there will be "adequate smileys"

Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
- Cardiff City haven't faced Luton Town in a league match since drawing 0-0 in a Championship meeting on New Year's Day 2007.
- This will be Luton's first-ever visit to the Cardiff City Stadium - their last away league trip to Cardiff was in September 2006, losing 4-1 at Ninian Park.
- Neil Warnock has never lost in the Football League against Luton in nine games against the Hatters (W3 D6 L0), only facing Rotherham United more often without losing (17 games).
- Cardiff lost their opening game of the season away at Wigan (3-2) - Warnock has never previously lost his opening two games of a second-tier league campaign, with 2019-20 being his 15th season in charge of a club at this level.
- Luton striker James Collins has scored 45 league goals for the Hatters - 16 more than any other teammate since the start of the 2017-18 season.

An untried youngster at right back , and talks in an unfamiliar position behind the striker ? No thanks.

5 changes I think.
Don’t do twitter and nothing on instagram yet..glad we’ve made changes. Although 1 will be the keeper and the other striker if Glatzel is ready to go, but interesting we’ve made 3 further changes, Pack and 2 more I’d say.

Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
The new Cardiff City ap is pretty Shitty .... used to send me line up an hr before kick off
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Just seen. Pato in midfield answers a few questions over the midfield saga all transfer window then.
Like the look of the front 3, still think we lack pace at the back but Luton carry an aerial threat so it may be for the best this game.
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Paterson will score today
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Smithies eventually gets a start.
I hope that works but no one really knows. Perhaps Sir Neil does and the boy himself must certainly think he deserves a chance
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Yes! Paterson is back to save us. Come on City!
Corners are going to be very interesting.
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Paterson at number 10 FFS. Sore neck today then
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Good line up.
Interesting to note that camarasa is on the bench for palace
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
The pitch looks a lot better than that last pre season game. A big performance would be nice today but I'll take three points any way possible.

Dry summer/now raining the obvious reason.
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Excellent early touches from Glatzel. Very promising.

i have high hopes for that man:thumbup:

Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Possession was 12% after 10 minutes. Now up to 15%
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Disgusting dive from Murphy. Embarassing. We're better than that.
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Odd first half so far. Had all the chances, Murphy involved heavily, missed a sitter, embarrassing dive, yet we don't look at all convincing.
-
Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
Pack looks a smart player. Breaking up play and tracking his man well.
Plenty of positives from the first half so far.
Glatzel is working his arse off up front. Very mobile, which surprised me.

Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
This is terrible. We were in the EPL last year, they were in League One. We playing at home and we're still playing low-possession, low percentage football. Head tennis, hopeful flicks-on, long balls pumped forward. Surely we can do better than this?

Re: Match thread: CARDIFF CITY v LUTON TOWN
What I don't understand is that NW seems genuinely pleased when we produce some good football, so with the players at his disposal why doesn't he make it happen more often ? Probably too cautious by nature so he'll never change.
