Wales playing backwards and sideways and backwards again. Not good viewing.

Yep, possession for the sake of it.

No it isn't.
Looks like he's setting up to be hard to beat at the moment.
Good break by Brooks and link up with Bale just now.
Need more of that.

Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
God this is boring
Am I going mental or have they switched sides for the cameras
-
Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
Very very boring up to now, shit first half
-
Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
In the early 90s I would watch many a match on teletext, glued to the screen. Reading through the live updates of this match on Walesonline is sending me to sleep. Is it really that bad?

The only positive is that Wales look untroubled so far, as entertainment it's dire.

Really. Let's just say I disagree The commentators on TV with a Wales bias and others on here agree that Wales tactics are boring with no intensity and passing for the sake of it.

Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
had to go for a walk around the garden on the 35min mark was so boring i was falling asleep
-
Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
Bale is way off of the pace.
Understandably so....hope he gets his Mojo back soon.
Connor Roberts is gash.
He was supposed to be an attacking upgrade on Gunter but to me he can’t cross and his passing seems lazy.
Ramsey and Allen really do make us tick.

Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
Can someone lose the refs whistle.

:sherlock:
"no it isn't" was me agreeing with you that it isn't good viewing

Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
The Bulgarians like a roll around or to hold their face when there's not been any contact. Ref falling for it every time
-
Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
The amount of fouls given away in this game because the passing is shit is incredible. Connor Roberts first touch is a lottery as well.

Apart from Moore being penalised for no reason, he's got it right in my opinion. It's the players who are creating the game, utter shit passing and poor touch leading to opposition lunging in. No composure out there.
-
Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
Connor Roberts just tries to blast his crosses through the first man

I know, he needs to compose himself a bit, ****ing 100 miles an hour, like a dog chasing a sausage.

Don't they just, Ramsey especially in a game like this.
Very few about who can see and deliver a defence splitting pass like him.

Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
Which park did they pick this referee up from?
-
Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
The ref is crap.
Both teams have dragged him down to their level.
-
Re: Wales v Bulgaria. ko 2pm
Goal Wales
Neco Williams 90+4

Awful game, great result !
To be fair Wales steadily improved as the game went along (hard not to on that first half performance) but it looked like two rather tired teams out there today. Good to see Bale more 'awake' at times too.
Great header by Williams and did well to be in the box from a right back position.

All our best players have hardly played this year, so I thought we've done well under the circumstances. We're going to be a different prospect at full strength, with all our players match fit.

Giggs is building something good here.
One of the most important qualities a top pro can have is patience.
Wales are showing discipline, with a good work ethic, you could compare it to a boxer showing ring craft.
They are building momentum which breeds confidence and a winning mentality, just like it did in 2016.
The partnership with Ampadu and Lockyer was impressive.
Great to see Davies still getting up and down the channels, great pro.

I'd rather be in control of the ball than let the opposition have it. Welsh teams of the past could barely string half a dozen passes together, and now that we can keep the ball for extended periods people are complaining
We can fine tune our play, but being able to keep possession of the ball is very important.
