Darren England will take charge of his first match since the Liverpool VAR mix-up this Saturday.
Mail Sport understands England will referee the Championship fixture between Cardiff City and Bristol City in the Welsh capital.
The clash known as the Severnside derby is often a feisty affair and was always going to be refereed by someone in the Select Group of officials.

What are the odds on one of the officials getting injured and he plays a key part? Evens I reckon!

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Good to know he's being "eased back in".
He should be alright with no var.

Because it'll be watched by pretty much everyone on a phone, which is held in portrait orientation.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
We've never drawn 2-2 with Bristol City.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Bobby bloody madley. Seriously! Put aside the fact that we all think he’s against us for obvious reasons, but after the controversy of last sat should he really be involved against us so soon. Might have read lots of comments etc. We’re all human..

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Still don't agree with three defensive midfielders on the bench.
I know that they are kids, but surely one of Evans, Crole or Ashford would be of more value to the matchday squad than say Sawyers. This is not a criticism of Sawyers, but Wintle and Adams will get on before him.

It is. $10. Are you using a VPN? I make the mistake of leaving mine set to UK from time to time.

Perry Ng!!
Another great corner from Ralls.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Decent...first half.....I wish the commentators (not just City's) would stop using the trendy word 'transition' instead of 'counter attack'!! End of moan...
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Have had to pay to get today's game(!)...and I can only get CCTV to work on MS Edge.
My usual browser is Firefox....and I don't get any adverts on WOL/CCMB...but my goodness...when I look at them on MS Edge I can see why people moan...

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Decent enough first half but very little cohesion anywhere on the pitch- need more from Bowler, Grant and Robinson
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Not sure I like the idea of taking Ralls off at this stage of the game.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
These two subs need to make a difference because we're letting them have their way with us right now.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
We've not threatened at all this half......I can smell 1-1
