Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Who I want to win. I think in all honesty Wolves are not likely to implode to the extent they can be overtaken.....or can they?
Fulham, on the other hand are by most peoples estimations a real danger.
If I had to put money on it, i think I would go for a Wolves win, but a draw would be a decent result I guess.

Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
I want Fulham to win.
I want us to hunt Wolves down.
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
I'm the same.
Thinking I'd like Fulham to win to pressure wolves..
Then I start thinking of rather Fulham not get any momentum.
Right now I think **** it, we've played them twice already and need to play wolves soon, they have some good teams to play too, so a Fulham win it is.
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
I don't want a Fulham win.
I would prefer a draw - gives us the chance to reduce Wolves lead but also keeps Fulham at a distance. Percentage punditry!
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Nil nil draw for me, or i wouldntmind a Wolves defeat. I think they are catchable, we win tommorow and they dont get a result tonight they may start getting a little nervy.
According to their forum they havent played well for a few weeks and have been scrapping by. They always seem to finish games lately against 10 men.
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Draw ideally, or Wolves not Fulham.
We need doubt creeping into Fulham so that they concentrate on the playoffs.
Wolves, as we've been told, are just tooo good.
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Watching the game now very pretty percentage football .
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
2-0 now.
Not sure about this. Can see Fulham getting auto. Hopefully not at our expense.
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Wolves have nothing up front , bet they regreting releasing Joe Mason now ?

This is what worries me.
Wolves also have quality and depth.

Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
The way it's going, we win tomorrow and we're 6 points off. We play them home and they've got Villa and Leeds away still. Aim to be champions I say!
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Glaring miss from Jota, glad we've played Fulham twice now
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
I wanted Wolves to win. We'd have to go on he'll of a run to catch them

Win tomorrow 6 points behind. Not long ago we were 14 points behind. The way Wankalona are dropping points we just need consistency.

Win tomorrow and we’re 6 behind with them still to come to us.
Unlikely? Yes. Impossible? Not in the slightest.

Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Just watched the best side in the division & Wolves

Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Saw an hour of it.
Saw wolves create one chance that was embarrassingly missed.
Fulham passed well, movement was good, they pressed, won second balls, looked good going forward, looked solid in defence.
**** playing them again this season they'll tonk us in the play offs.

Us first, Fulham second.
Tempted to have a cheeky little flutter. Wonder what the odds would be?

Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Ryan Sessegnon has 13 goals already this season, and only 17. He'll be in the premier league next season you would have thought whether Fulham are or not

Txt my mate saying we have closed them down by 8 points.
Nothing would surprise me in this league.
I don't see.fulham not making autos.

Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Wolves were 16 points ahead of us before we kicked off against Bolton just 11 days ago.
They are now 9 points ahead but we have a game in hand. So potentially tomorrow the gap could be 6 points.
We play next weekend before they do, so further potentially the gap could be 3 points when they kick off at 5.30pm.
That would mean a 13 point swing in 18 days.
But that only happens I if we win our next two games. What it does show is that Wolves are not uncatchable.
(After Brentford next weekend we have Barnsley and Birmingham at home. We have a real opportunity in front of us)
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
The opportunity to pile on the pressure is there for us tomorrow. The question is.. will we show our intent and put our local rivals to the sword?

yes Fulham do look good , I do think though they can be beaten in those windy /cold Tuesday night games up north .
Though Wolves lacked bite today (excuse the pun )
Fulham manager had a lovely London stylish scarf on, very becoming, European ok for Kensington tonight, not so for a night out in Teer/weerside chippy

Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Go on Fulham. Makes tomorrow's game more important. Let's send those Wurzels home with nothing. Now we got to win to keep the gap to Fulham and we can close the gap to wolves to 6 points. Let's up the pressure and see if they can handle it! Bloobirds!
-
Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Next week Fulham are away at Derby, we are at Brentford
But Wolves, Wurzels and Villa all have easier looking home games.

Hopefully with the way their results have gone, Bonatini not scoring since 4th December, these "easier" games might still be a challenge with their confidence hopefully knocked.

Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Didn't Peterborough do the double over us when we went up?

What odds do you want? I’d be happy to cover any bet you care to make on that outcome

Heh. I've remembered that whenever I make a bet, it fails. I could bet on a nag in a one horse race and it would collapse 5 steps in.

Villa/Derby more likely to finish ahead of Fulham, so anything that brings Wolves down a peg or two.

It's up to us (and Wolves) if they get an auto or not.

We need to win the next 4 games and then relax a bit, maybe send the lads over to Amsterdam for a few days as a reward

Re: Fulham v Wolves Can't make my mind up
Not a great result for us. Fulham look brilliant, Wolves have enough decent home games that'll see them over the line imo. A win tomorrow and the table is pretty much as you were but with a tough game next week, we need to take 3 points!

On their forum they’ve admitted that they’ve finally met a side who could possibly match them.

What about the ones saying Fulham weren't that good but wolves were just dire?

They had a decent home game against Norwich... and failed to win.
They've looked poor in 3 games on the bounce now which is why the gap has dramatically reduced. It's almost as if the predictions of them struggling in cold weather came true...
We're winning games. Fulham are winning games. Pressure is all on Wolves; carry on like this, can see us and Fulham overtaking them. More difficult for Fulham, sure.
