Re: CARDIFF CITY v CHARLTON ATHLETIC. Match thread
Probably a safe assumption that there will be a few changes this game given the quick turnaround, could really give Charlton a pasting (even if they are in form themselves). Has to be a win for ourselves, regardless of our start this is simply a game you just have to win.
Smithies
Sanderson
Nelson
Morrison
Bennett
Vaulks
Ralls
Tomlin
NML
Glatzel
Hoilett
City 3-0 Charlton.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v CHARLTON ATHLETIC. Match thread
My team is on another thread. I am suggesting an unchanged team.
Charlton will be no push overs and in fact this could be our most difficult game so far.
Dont think it's a must win. Just a must not lose.

Albert will definitely start as it’s his last game? Interesting that three of our former Academy players probably in the Charlton team, they’ll be trying hard to prove our club wrong to reject them and another Welshman on the bench! Didn’t know Charlton was capital of Wales!

Re: CARDIFF CITY v CHARLTON ATHLETIC. Match thread
Does anyone know if you can pay to watch any of the non sky games on club tv or is it just being streamed for s/t holders only? None the wiser going by the app.

it's £10 a game to purchase. you should be able to buy on a game by game basis

I'd go with the energy of Ralls and Bacuna, otherwise same team.
I suspect we will see Paterson start up top though to do his usual for an hour, although I believe we will see Tomlin start (even if my head is screaming shut up you idiot we'll keep it safe for an hour) I'd like to see NML start but then again it's Adomahs last game and NML has been good off the bench
2/3-1 city.

I requested the ST deferral to next season option yesterday. If I log in tonight will it automatically pick up my details and play the live feed?
Thanks.

No he's not. You will get an email with a code, that when you redeem it on the official club TV site it will give you access to all the remaining games via the website (on PC) or club app (on mobile/tablet).
Hopefully you'll get the code before today's game

Still injured - calf injury from the Swansea friendly. Harris said yesterday that he was unlikely to be fit for tonight, but sounded much more hopeful for the weekend.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v CHARLTON ATHLETIC. Match thread
I have to assume that Charlton will be quite happy with a point and saving their big guns for Friday.
They are pretty well safe now, so Bowyer is perhaps starting to look to next season.
Anyway I hope so!

Re: CARDIFF CITY v CHARLTON ATHLETIC. Match thread
Jacks 1 down to millwall. Pity that.

Pretty much safe? They’re just 3 points above the drop zone with 7 games to play!

Then it sounds like he's resting players for "winnable" games, an approach I hate.

Probably just squad rotation, give Vaulks a rest. Pack will make way for Tomlin at some point I guess

I guess Harris thinks we will have more of the ball and Pack can use it better than Vaulks? im not sure but Charlton have made changes, maybe its just the time of the restart to do it.

Who’s the team in blue trying to knock it about?

No idea can't get a link!!!!

Re: CARDIFF CITY v CHARLTON ATHLETIC. Match thread
i would say Vaulks is a better presser and keeps the game ticking more but i would say Pack is the better passer, its just he slows play down to much.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v CHARLTON ATHLETIC. Match thread
Can’t get the game at all? What’s going on?

Rested 7 games in 22 says I guess is the reason , and to give ( game ) time to those we may call upon through injuries??
