Re: NORWICH CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
There were 1 or 2 promising signs and if Ramsey starts we may just have a chance of a goal. I see this as a 433
Horvath
Ng
Phillips
Goutas
Wilson Esbrand
Siopis
Ralls
Ramsey
Colwill
Diedhiou
Grant

if we get anywhere near 2-0 we'd be end up sitting so deep it would make mr Tan's wedgy look like loose fitting slacks

That's a good shout and the best available starting eleven I could think of.
Nevertheless... 3-1 Norwich.

Re: NORWICH CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
It's difficult to be optimistic given our poor form and Norwich's good home record.
I think there were signs of 'green shoots' on Wednesday, but unless Ramsey scores, I cannot see anyone else doing it.
I hope Ralls is fit to start, as he does improve the team, particularly with his corners.
We don't do draws, but being very optimistic I fancy a 1-1.
(I was right unfortunately Weds with my 2-0 prediction, so perhaps I'm on a roll).

West brom and Norwich both have very strong home records, even if we lose both these games it isn't going to change much about this season

I’d be surprised to see Esbrand start as a left back, he looks lost defensively (yes even more so than Collins)
I wouldn’t mind seeing the same formation as WBA, add Ramsey if fit and I think Grant upfront would have added so much more than Meite did.

Bulut has been bad for months and doesn't seem to know how to turn it around (not saying he can't, just an observation based on the last few months evidence) but at what point do we stop sacking manager after manager and give one a sustained period or more than a few windows to try and improve things?
-
Re: NORWICH CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
knowing us like i do we will get one of those " how the feck did we win" games

Nah, each game we seem to be slipping slightly further away from even those kinds of results.

I don't think that'll happen as long as Tan et al are running the show, they seem incapable of implementing anything approaching a sensible structure to run the club

Re: NORWICH CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
ok all bets in, will we park the bus
- from the start of the game
- 15 minutes in
- as soon as we concede (even if we are behind!)
- only if we go ahead
im gonna go with 15 minutes in or when we concede. Both seem to be the most common. Money well spent on my "entertainment" hobby

I am always the optimist....even the worst teams have surprise results......1-1 or 2-2

Re: NORWICH CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Strong rumour Ramsey hasn't travelled.
If that's true we may as well pack up now.
-
Re: NORWICH CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
There were some murmurings yesterday, possibly out for a couple of weeks.
Team news should confirm in a few mins he's not playing and the the manager if asked may update later.

Managing his game time ahead of the Wales games I suspect

Glad to see Ralls back. Assume we're going 532 again.

Today just got worse. May as well give Ashford a run out on 60 mins when we are 3 nil down. Respect to all those who have made the journey. Let's hope AR is fit for the Finland match next month.

Good point. Wishful thinking on my part.
