Anyone else looking forward to league 1???
No joke, the humiliation should see the mastermind of it all finally leave, might even galvanise our disparate fan base again, rebuild and have another go maybe in a few years.

The longer Tan stays, the lower down the leagues Cardiff will go. He can't trust anyone, only the people who agree with everything he says. That's dangerous because the man knows nothing about the game of football. He may not look stupid, but spending a reported £200m to turn Cardiff into a bottom 6 team is bonkers.

To leave we need a buyer.
That's not going to happen.

To stay we need things to be better. Certainly there has been some constructive work this summer but following so many poor transfer windows and flip-flopping in strategy we need another builder rather than Asian hotelier.

But Tan only employs people that agree with him.
Cut your losses VT - all 200,000,000 of them (according to Dalman). Put the club up for sale, see who is interested and write it off as one monumental cock-up.

Re: Anyone else looking forward to league 1???
Losing to Preston away is par for the course of finishing lower mid table as I predicted. We are not going down, there are three worse teams than us.

It's early days yet, things will work itself out over time. I am not a particularly positive fan but I have enough faith in this team to finish fourth from bottom at least.

I am far more worried about the upcoming seasons than this one.
At present i'd say we will be playing League one before we ever play in the Premier League again.

Hope so . That would do .

Re: Anyone else looking forward to league 1???
At least our performance has stopped those posters pontificating about the play offs or even promotion. Frankly I doubt that this team will prosper in League 1.

I think he looks really stupid. Like borderline retarded.

I'm sure he has spent 200 mill, the thing he always fails to mention is the 150 mil or so he has had back from tv sky, player sales and big crowds for the first few years.....still, 50 million doesn't make us look so un grateful for ruining this club....

Re: Anyone else looking forward to league 1???
Will be nice to re-new old hostilities (i.e. teams we haven't played for 15+ years), visit new/old grounds ... and have better atmospheres.

Better atmospheres with less that 10k in a 33k stadium?

Re: Anyone else looking forward to league 1???
At least games would all be at 3pm on a Saturday

Re: Anyone else looking forward to league 1???
Currently 5 additions to my 92 club in residence. (currently on 76)
Fleetwood, Rochdale, Oldham, Chesterfield & Wimbledon.
So I'm up for it.

^^^^This
£200m is utter tripe

Re: Anyone else looking forward to league 1???
Tan could recoup a few bob by selling off the red seats.

I bet you was jumping up and down when Preston scored so you could jump straight on here to spout your usual bull shit

And if by some miracle he has spent £350 million then it just shows what terrible mgt he has employed to run the club. How he ever made his wealth is incredible but I guess if someone gives you a McDonald's franchise then it's almost a licence to print money....

A football club is not like running a normal business, unfortunately he pumped all that money in thinking that's it we will be an established premiership team within the next couple of years but he let Malay and ogs buy shit and waste most of it because if we're honest the money Malay had to buy players we should've probably had enough to stay up

Agreed. Having won the championship in some style, if you then throw some money at the guy who got you up, you'd expect to stay up.
Following on from that, whoever had the final say on hiring OGS needs to have a word with themselves.

Not going to get into the whole thing once again but when malky left we were out of the bottom three and we all know that his sacking was nothing to do with results. Would he have kept us up? We'll never know but Tan replacing him with OGS sealed our fate.
Whatever the rights and wrongs of managers and player recruitment, the simple fact is that Tan knows nothing about football but thinks he knows best. In a nutshell, that's at the core of our problems.

Re: Anyone else looking forward to league 1???
Same old ,same old , lets blame the owner , never mind the underachievers in the squad and the management team who lets be fair are going through change but ultimately are responsible for this .
Yes Marshall left , but do we really know what was said about replacement ,was their time to replace , it might have gone the way of the goalkeeping coach saying " hey we have got a real prospect on our hands with Wilson ,lets give him a go" instead of breaking the bank , Mr Tan will be really made up , we can always sign up a few half decent supporting keepers ???
Or did the owner say , sell Marshall , keep all the dosh , and lets see all the goals go in as I want to go down .???????????????????.
Think you need to look beyond and deeper than Mr Tan on this one

Of course players, coaches etc. Have to take their share of the blame but who makes the decisions to put them there?
Tan puts people in place to run the club, he also has input and the final say on players (he's said as much in the past)
Poor leadership starts at the top and filters down.
I'm not saying everything is down to Tan but the buck stops with the guy who makes the decisions.

That was a huge decision, one of the worst and most crucial ever made. Yet it's the fans who have to suffer on as always

Although OGS turned out to be disaster across the world of football there was a general feeling he had the skills so its not just Tan who knows nothing , is it .
Slade was a reality check appointment , and to be fair steadied a rocking ship , as he off loaded endless players to put us in the right financial position, and nearly popped us into The top 6 , I always wonder how it would have been with the transfer embargo, so not a terrible appointment there either .
Now we have appointed from within, trying to provide a Welshness to the club ,with the backroom appointments ,which certain CCMB members were applauding at the time , I guess that was meant in the right intentions .

you really do need to learn the rules of CCMB
what you have written is of course sensible and more than likely bang on the button, but it has no place on here, you need to get with the program and blame Tan for everything and anything
