Draught beer on tap trumps what I offer: I have a wee Beach Bar at the foot of my garden that accommodates one person behind the bar, a standard-sized fridge and three stools in front of it. Leaving the french doors open it is largely used to access the fridge when there are more than a handful of people. I subsequently also bought a potting shed that I made into somewhere where 8 people can sit and eat. Both erections are adorned with naff lights, cheesy signs, beach paraphernalia such as shells and pebbles, assorted beach-themed junk, nets hanging from the roofs, small music speakers etc.
I tend to have a Beach Bar evening once a month between Easter and October (themed, of course) and invite different sets of 7 people each time. However, the nearest beach is half an hour away...
How does one get an invite? It sounds like fun having my erection adorned with naff lights, cheesy signs, shells and pebbles, and assorted beach-themed junk :biggrin:Quote:

I just use a cooler in my back garden. 3 bags of ice. Keeps beer cold for a couple of days at least.

I acquired one last year , link below, plenty big enough. Bought a big beer fridge from gumtree which takes all the bottles etc. Wine and spirits behind bar. I acquired some beer pumps and put them on for show (not wired up or attached to proper kegs), instead for draft I buy 5 litre kegs from the supermarket ( about 9 pints), get some lager, strongbow, IPA and your sorted (£10-£18 for a keg depending on offers). Mine is in the conservatory, but treat this and bobs your uncle it will last in the garden for a few years. Then if you like it you can always step up...tip here is an old reception desk from a hairdressers, shop/office etc.....makes a fantastic bar. Run some electric out to the bar with waterproof sockets etc.....
