On holiday in Torremuelle a few yrs ago. The wife is sunbathing on the beach. I decide to go up to the pool for a swim. I’m the only one in there for a while, then this couple get in..I straight away recognise a Keardiff accent. Turns out they were from Pentrebane..

On the opposite side, we did a tour of the Etihad Stadium a couple of years ago. The guides asked if there were any non Man City fans there, so we said we were Bluebirds. Also there were a family of Bristol City fans and a solitary Jack.

Re: I always say hello to other City fans
Was cycling round east London last summer and had the Ken Thorne city shirt on and a builder on a site nearby shouted “CITY!”. Nearly fell off trying to do an ayatollah in response, haha.

Not so.
There was a Youtube video of you brushing past and totally ignoring ******Girl - even after she shouted after you.
I took it that was your stock response to girls calling you - run a mile.

Re: I always say hello to other City fans
I've been asked a few times if I'm Mike Morris from the messageboard, mostly at football games but once outside Wembley while waiting to get in to a Metallica concert.
Last time a stranger approached me was at CCS. Nugent FFS

Re: I always say hello to other City fans
I don't think I've ever just bumped into a City fan. I've randomly met a few people from the Cardiff area, none of them cared about the City though. I've also met a few people with Welsh flags or Welsh flag bumper stickers. Not one of them was born in Wales. And if they had a Welsh relative none of them knew where said relative was from. Weak.

Re: I always say hello to other City fans
I met Cohen Griffith in a Cyprus restaurant, years ago (maybe 92 or 93). I was wearing the old 'Golden Years' t-shirt, and we had a good chat, once he'd finished his meal.
I spoke to a guy in a City shirt on Gibraltar, again many years ago.
