You'd think an opportunity for some fringe players to get a look in given the quick turnaround and injuries. Would really like to see Coxe start, as well as Whyte who I thought was improving a lot under old-Neil until new-Neil came in. Interested to see if he stays with Glatzel, again the quick turnaround, wouldn't be surprised to see him rested.
QPR, like the rest of the division outside of the top 2 are nothing special, so no reason we can't get something from this. 1-1.
Will there be any streams for it if it's on Red Button?
According to the club website (Cardiff, not QPR) this game WILL be shown on City TV, which is good. Okay, it costs a tenner, but if it was on in the pub, you'd spend a tenner easily while watching. It's red button, so not in pubs. Looks like I'll be forking out a tenner to watch it online.
Match facts
- QPR have won 13 of their last 17 home league matches against Cardiff City, including the last two in a row.
- Cardiff are looking to complete a league double over QPR for the first time since the 2007-08 season.
- QPR and Cardiff have faced each other on New Year's Day once previously. The Hoops won 2-1 back in 2018.
- Cardiff manager Neil Harris is winless in his last three games when facing QPR in the Championship. His last victory over Rangers came while in charge of Millwall in December 2017.
- QPR boss Mark Warburton has lost each of his last four games against Cardiff - all in the Championship, with three different sides, Brentford, Nottingham Forest (twice) and QPR.
- Cardiff have lost their last three league games on New Year's Day, although two of those defeats were in the Premier League in 2013/14 and 2018/19.
Are we expecting anything other than 5 at the back?
Thats a very defensive lineup. Vaulks in for Tomlin and Bamba in for Bennett.
Team same as finished Sunday. Morrie and Pelts on bench.

there are probably better ones about too
Etheridge, Richards, Flint, Nelson, Bamba, Bacuna, Pack, Vaulks, Tomlin, Hoilett, Glatzel
Looking forward to seeing what Vaulks can do... would have liked Whyte to start
I like that line up. It was excellent in the 2nd half at Wednesday 532 when needs be 343 otherwise,
how does that even look on paper.
is hoilett up front? or is Tomlin on the wing? Either way I think this is the way to go with our squad. Our wingers aren't performing and the more help Flint can get at the back, the better. Interested to see how it plays out
Other than the play off win, probably my fav QPR v City game, Earnie hat-trick

Do they fancy turning the lights on?
1-0...long ball...Bamba could have done better to cut out.....
1-0 down. Bamba shouting at his fellow defenders but he was caught napping there. Come on city!
[QUOTE=City123;5033924]Do they fancy turning the lights on?
I think the lights are on but it's very dark
Great start
It is very dark, all the other games look much brighter
not dark on club tv.....
Looked like a nailed on handball there
flint hits the bar from a corner...despite the goal we are playing ok....
Tomlin to Glatzel....should have hit the target...
Need to get stuck in ...second to most lose balls
our defence isnt good at all atm
BIG BIG miss by QPR should be 2-0
Should have been two. Jazz beaten all ends up and ball cut back for Eze to miss what was a fairly simple chance.
Bamba done again. 2-0
yep carthorse bamba
You can tell Sol "bomb scare" Bamba's back.... :hehe:
Now it IS 2-0.......Bamba and Richard too close and Bamba caught out......uphill struggle now. Shame because we have not played badly apart from the goals.
