Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
Bale said:
“I know what I’m doing, but it’ll just cause chaos if I say anything.
“All I’m thinking about now is finishing this season off strong and we meet up straight away for the Euros.
“I’m not thinking about anything else other than Wales.”
Staying at Real Madrid ...
Signing for Tottenham ...
Playing in Premier League / MLS / far east ...
None of the above would arguably be causing chaos.
Signing for Cardiff ?
This would cause chaos for Bluebirds fans with season tickets currently unavailable?
Fights breaking out in ticket queues for the 10000 or so made available for each home game.
Championship rivals (including our cousins down west) claiming 'it's so unfair', and sending a petition to Boris asking for CCFC to be expelled from the English pyramid.

Re: Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
It’s not 100% unimaginable but as much as it sounds great I’m not sure how it’d work out.
Much as we love him and he’s a football genius I don’t think he’s good at doing what he’s told by the manager.

Sorted: Bale will replace McCarthy as Player Manager.

Re: Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
don't be daft.
it would personally cost him millions to come here, and if he was RRy interested he could join next season and the financial impact would be a lot less

Net worth £145 million ... apparently. https://www.google.com/search?q=gare...hrome&ie=UTF-8
Maybe he could buy the club and then see out his contract at Madrid.

Didn't other clubs complain it was unfair we signed Bellamy or am I imagining things?
Anyway, Bale's probably going to stay at Real or go to the MLS. Mick isn't happy with his output in training

Re: Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
It'll be chaos in Nailsworth when he puts on a Cardiff shirt for the 1st time.
Forest Green Rovers (A) - The New Lawn (Tue 20th July - 7pm)

He could yet turn up for the Bath friendly.

You forgot about Arsenal.
That would potentially cause chaos in North London.
I do like your thinking mind.

Re: Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
Maybe just maybe Bale was talking rubbish and the next move isnt going to cause chaos.

That's it then ... put a fiver on Bale and Rambo and Keifer turning out for the Gunners.

Re: Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
He’s got enough money, how much does one need? There comes a point where quality of life becomes the main priority…..so who knows what it is for him? Hometown or MLS and golf?

Just had a horrible thought: Swansea Town

Re: Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
I think the biggest and most realistic “cause chaos” theory for Bale would be that he’s staying at Madrid, he is hated there after all, but has had success under Ancelotti for them in his first 2 seasons.
Either that or retiring completely to play pro golf

Yea, Greg Clarke wanted it to be looked into as well. Was pathetic

I don't think that Bale seeing out his contract at a club he's signed to would cause "chaos".
Him retiring wouldn't cause chaos either.
I hadn't thought about the Arsenal theory mentioned earlier in this thread... hmmm

Wasn't that the same season QPR broke the rules regarding 3rd part ownership but had next to no punishment? Looking in the wrong place, Greg

If he says anything. He never said his move would cause chaos, only that it would cause chaos if he said anything at the time.

Do you not think there'd be a bit of a fuss if he turned up at Arsenal, Barca or Cardiff?

Retire and become pro golfer...... bit obvious.
Be the first footballer to retire from club football to concentrate on international career....... that would be funny.. if not a bit of a waste.

A bit of press interest yes, but chaos no. I think he's got a slightly inflated opinion of himself if he thinks he's causing chaos. It's not as if he's one of the top 20 players in the world anymore.
Barca - Madrid fans glad to see the back of him so no.
Arsenal - Spurs fans hardly enthused by him coming back last season and Arsenal so far off it so no.
Cardiff - No more so than Bellamy so there'd be interest from Walesonline.

To even mention Bellamy in the same sentence as Bale is blasphemy. It would cause much more of a fuss than that transfer.
-
Re: Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
I think people are reading too much into the 'cause chaos' comment. I just think he he wanted the focus to remain on the Welsh team and the Euros - and that talking about his personal career would would just be distracting.
-
Re: Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
Maybe he’s getting an entourage and he’s referring to the traffic chaos that they’ll cause!

I think it was a throwaway comment that people are looking too deeply into. Say what you like about Bale but I don't think he's arrogant

Re: Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
There is a story in the Mirror which says he won't seek a new club after his next contract finishes though will continue to play for Wales.
They have no source and vaguely refer to "Bale has told family and friends".
I'm not positing the link because it's tittle-tattle. I would humbly suggest you don't read it because it's just a headline wanting hits.
None of the comments about Bale's future come with a source that holds credibility.
This is a player who made a joke about knowing where Ramos will play next year and then when being asked where saying it will be in defence. Let him come out and tell us his future when it's time!

Not sure but it looks like Mick has left him out of the squad to face Southampton.
Probably resting after the Euros before he runs out at the Cardiff City stadium

He put Leicester into admin after massively overspending and then bought them back. He’s the whole reason they have points deductions for admin, as they got promoted off the back of it
-
Re: Gareth Bale 'Chaos Theory'
Suppose how you define chaos but id imagine in the context Bale was using it I guess he meant a big storm in a teacup that would be distracting for the squad being asked about it all the time.
My gut feeling is he will see out his contract and retire. His words were as long as he is playing football he will play for Wales. Which could mean he’s played his last game.
Either that or he’ll go to the MLS, would suit his golf
