If there is already a provision in the accounts for this, then isn't it just a case of removing the provision with an accompanying note to say why? I doubt the actual settlement figure would show, in either ours or Millers' accounts.
Looks like Tans legal team have finally got it sorted out with the insurance company.
Now they need to go after Nantes crooked owner (Kita), and the agent that brokered the deal.
If it's a sizeable settlement to Cardiff it will be interesting to see if the other actions are withdrawn as any insurance settlement will decrease the value of claim made in those actions.

This case wasn’t solely about the money.
It was also about establishing a trail of who was dealing with their business in an open and disingenuous way
When the damages case against Nantes goes to court VT wants them to see the Club as the one being dealt with in a less than honest way. This is where the real money will be. Although the money has been paid Nantes or their agents cannot access it until the courts have decided who is in the right from a legal standpoint
