It's their thing. We don't do it, so they do.

Re: Swansea Union Jack flags
Its not so weird when you consider the links they have to the Romani , Tinkers ,Travellers and Gipsy heritage , a lot love to display their brightly coloured flags fluttering above their travelling accommodation .
I myself have a British Flag proudly shown .

It's a well known fact that the loyalist fraternity have roots firmly implanted within the Irish traveller community.

Nothing wrong with the Union Jack and anyone proud of it unless used for wrong reasons..
I also have nothing against the travelling community i'm not sure why your having a pop at them for.
Celtic and Rangers have history of flying the Tri and Union flags but those knuckle draggers down west have not got a clue and just jump on any bandwagon they can to try and gain friends and publicity.
Swansea city fans really do have a little penis syndrom.

They started using the union flag only because it says Jack. Sadly a few of their brain dead followers have used it to try and get themselves the attention they crave.

We're all travellers , I am in fact a decenendent of the travelling Jew , many were nomad , settler or fugitive ( some things never change )
I have nothing to add to the rumours or have evidence of the alleged small Swansea penis syndrome .
I am sorry to have upset thought we were allowed Swansea jokes silly me.

Although it isn't just about the constant confusion between GB and the UK - it is also central to the 'identity' that the Swansea Loyalists are projecting.
They (strangely copied by LOM) regard the Irish part of the UK as Britain - as if the UK is an identity that undermines Unionism. Either that or they are just ignorant and confused?

Re: Swansea Union Jack flags
I thought they loved their Union Jack down the Liberty Stadium?
I take it some of their lot are a bit fed up with the flag wankers?
-
Re: Swansea Union Jack flags
Nothing wrong with being proud of the Union Jack or being part of United Kingdom of Britain, sadly some like to highjack it for political point scoring I guess 🤔

After all that flag-waving, you left out the Great bit and the Northern Ireland bit. (The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland)

It sounds like they partly took exception to the loyalist slogan on the flag and sounds partly like the flag owner was being a bit of an arse

That's the thing that baffles me, a union jack isn't exactly my cup of tea but I understand some people feel more British than Welsh etc, but loyalism? That's odd

The City may not have a large Irish republican following but Cardiff itself has a massive connection to The Republic. I’d imagine there are thousands of Cardiffians with Irish heritage.
