Leeds ticket sales - slowed down?
Bought 4 extra tickets for friends saturday morning, expected another boom of sales after our victory v Sunderland. Just checked e-ticketing stadium looking exactly the same as when i purchased before.
also did any of the local papers pick up this match afterwards?

I asked a contact at the South Wales Echo if they'd promote the match with something like a 'Bumper Crowd expected for City match' or similar as that always creates a ticket surge in these parts.
Will hopefully see this appear tomorrow to give it time to 'work'.

Re: Leeds ticket sales - slowed down?
Just looked at the seating plan on the website. Only 1 block left in ninian and 2 blocks in the grandstand! I know it does not include family stand sales but looking good!

Re: Leeds ticket sales - slowed down?
Just been down the ticket office and there's was a queue to get in. Not often you see that at 11 on a Monday morning.
Had to laugh at a bloke trying to get a discount on a ticket because he worked in Aldi, and they sponsor the FAW :hehe:

Fair play it was nice of the the woman in there buying tickets for herself to offer the cheeky chancer a £5 one using her season ticket. He got what he wanted in the end.

Re: Leeds ticket sales - slowed down?
Looking at the web - 14 available tickets available in the main bowl. 10 in the middle row of the Ninian. Upper also selling well.
Surely if the Family Stand isnt selling they can open a section there as well? Unless its genuinely sold as well.
Could be a record. Cant wait.

There was definitely some availability in the family stand earlier, I picked up four tickets in there for friends this morning.

Re: Leeds ticket sales - slowed down?
Could be the first 30000+ crowd for a league game since what, Spurs in '78?

I think with Leeds not selling their allocation, the segregation and probably lots of empty seats in the Family section we are going to have to pretty much sell out the Ninian Upper to get 30k. That'll mean 3-4000 tickets being sold in the next 24 hoirs

Re: Leeds ticket sales - slowed down?
This is absolutely brilliant to read, and once again shows that we can occasionally be a big club. Seriously hoping that loads of these new fans will keep returning after Tuesday night.
:ayatollah:
I've sacrificed my place there as I'm away with the Mrs but have shifted my 3 S/Ts plus 9 additional tickets.
I have 2 left, on the halfway of the 'new' Ninian Middle Tier if anybody wants them? £5 each. Collect from the collection booth.

Leeds have sold 2800 tickets. Presumably, they've been given the extended bit towards the Ninian stand rather than the family stand.

Re: Leeds ticket sales - slowed down?
Everton in the same cup run was bigger and later

Leeds not selling their allocation, thought they would have brought 4,000 down

Leeds fan on Twitter earlier saying they've got loads left.
I know they requested extra to take them to something like 2750, but haven't seen any confirmation they have sold out

Re: Leeds ticket sales - slowed down?
I'm flying home at the time the match is on, but my ticket was given to a mate before I left. I'm gutted that I'm not there but happy that Sky picked up the game so at least I can watch it on Wednesday.
Give'em 'ell boys!!!

Though I have seen a lot of spares on twitter so I think quite a few have bought with no intention of going just to get the credits on their account.
