Potential New Trade deal in the wake of Brexit.
The government appears to be in the midst of establishing a trade deal with one of the world's largest economies.
This will surely be music to the ears of Nigel Farage and his supporters.
Only one slight problem...

I preferred May when she was her real self, I'm not too sure about this nicer version.

Re: Potential New Trade deal in the wake of Brexit.
In all seriousness, if India are insisting that any trade deal has to come with caveats on "freedom of movement" how the hell do we expect Europe to agree to single market/no freedom of movement deal?
Controlling immigration was a core principle for the Brexiteer's, this is clearly going to come at a price, either that or we will be in a position where we will merely be substituting one group of immigrants for another.

Re: Potential New Trade deal in the wake of Brexit.
With every trade comes the number one issue " free movement of Labour " to British .
Trade deals will not take place without the required and agreed free labour movement , we have made a rod for our own back , as its so attractable for minimum wage and other service jobs for folk living in India and elsewhere , however those on our own shores moan about the wages ,which are low in our world, but no in others .
If the thrust of Brexit was to stop this we are sadly disillusioned , it could mean more arrivals form the sub continent and elsewhere : shrug:

EVERY deal will have problems that need to be dealt with. To think that any deal is done easily is ignorant.

Which presumably, is why the country voted in the way that it did

Re: Potential New Trade deal in the wake of Brexit.
It is a myth that every Leave voters wants a total ban on migration. Or a huge reduction in it.
We currently trade more with Belgium. India will be one of the 3 huge superpowers in years to come. Along with China and America.
A trade deal with them is a must surely?.
It is difficult as these VISA's will be given to indians that will then undercut Brits, by companies outsourcing.
At the same time I don't think people have an issue with indian people.
To be frank, they are usually not muslim, so no one fears them.
That is what it boils down to now I believe.

Forget about the TV show. What binds May, Merkel, Obama, etc, etc, is serving the same interests. And those interests don't include what's in the best interests of you or I. That's why they all toddle off to Bilderberg, can find any amount of money to bail out bankers while veryone else gets a dose of austerity and pretend not to know who's funding ISIS. Study the image below and try to think for yourself.
Brexit means saying: 'Brexit Means Brexit' in a determined, sincere tone occasionally.

Plenty of rich Christian Americans mate.
Are they all in cahoots with each other.
What about the arabs that spread their virus through Europe.
Or the chinese that are buying up property, debt and business left right and centre throughout Europe.

Immigration Control v Cheap Foreign Labour is the Brexit conundrum in a nutshell. It would be deeply ironic if all our east European workers were replaced by a darker skinned workforce from locations outside of Europe.

Come up with something else please.
Since when did a few Leave campaigners saying those things make every leave voter accountable for their meaning.
I didn't say 350 millon would go to the NHS, neither did leave for that matter.
Has the NHS collapsed due to migrants leaving?.
Have we seen migrants being put on boats and deported??.

Nothing at all to do with what kenwyne said, you said "don't let the truth get in the way" I was merely pointing out that some key players in the Brexit camp were economical with the truth to say the least. Indeed, the CPS are currently investigating whether the leave campaign deliberately mislead voters with the points I raised above.

come on , the scare campaign waged by the remainders was even more duplicitous and it backfired spectacularly :-)

I think the biggest mistake the Remain camp made wasn't a scare campaign, but that they didn't take it seriously enough to rebuff the Leave arguments or promote what the EU has done in various parts of the country. Did the Project Fear thing really hit home? Everyone remembers the £350m bus but I can't recall any details from Remain.

Oh I agree there were, let's call them what they are, lies from both sides.
That said, the true economic impact won't be known until we're actually out.
Good or bad.

Well I didn't want to leave for any of those reasons, I wanted to leave because the EU are the biggest bunch of crooks on the planet

I think there are parts of the world with more corruption than the EU.

I get your point, but I'm not sure if I agree with it. Corruption in the West is very subtle and well hidden, whereas in other parts of the world it can be very petty, and the bigger players aren't even all that bothered about hiding it.

That may be true but I can't vote them out of my kids future, I would vote to keep them out of any UN involvement too if I could. :hehe:

You've sulked since June 23 about the outcome of the Referendum. The good news for you is that the establishment has no intention of implementing the will of the people, but you haven't caught on to that yet.

Hardly sulking my friend, just exercising my democratic right to continue to voice my opinion.
