I think that due to him being contracted to a club in August, he is not technically a free agent until January.
If Neil wants him and we can afford him then yes but not at the cost of a striker.It would only be short term anyway as he is getting a bit long in the tooth now but if we could get him and Neil Warnock thinks he could add to what we have then why not.
