This event and the people that go to it are my idea of hell.
Elbow at the moment. Really good band.
Jo Wiley or whatever her name is, she needs a good portion:hide:
Enjoyed The xx and Elbow so far
What you see in the Tv might aswell be a different festival. There is so much more they should show but they don't or can't. Some if the best nights if my life spent in those fields. Little gateways leading to places and tents I didn't know existed and could never find again.
Didn't even go to the pyramid stage for a good few years....
Radiohead 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Load of self indulgent arse
Also looking forward to Future Islands and London Grammar if the BBC iplayer plays ball
Radihead top notch so far
I think The Bends, OK Computer and Kid A are amongst the best albums ever. They seem to have lost their way a bit since, obsessed with re-invention for its own sake. And like another poster says, it comes across as self indulgence. Ill enjoy the earlier tracks and tolerate the more recent stuff but they are sounding good
craig david musical legned!
Like the goat says, it's not about the main stage. So much else to enjoy. Went twice early 90s and found the best times were away from the pyramid. I loved both, and pobols going this weekend will too, I have no doubt.
Seem that those who went years ago have become too posh to go now, I've never been, had tics 6 years back but couldn't make it.
Radiohead......rubbish so far
nelson, go next year. You'll be better for it.
had it on for the last 1/2 hour
first of kate tempest, if you saw her in queen street you would cross over the other side of the street, wtf was that about
radiohead, never got them, tried my best but lasted 2 songs tonight
XX, I never liked depeche mode, so these appeared even worse
some county singer, she was ok
it comes to something when dizzee rascal is my prefered choice, i used to be fairly into the " jungle scene " and he sounds like a MC from them days, best out of a bad bunch tonight
My oldest wants to go next year, with us, so we might have to endure crappy bogs again, though you can take a caravan cant you ? ? ? so that might save us, we used to love reading festival and went for many many years, never did Glasto though
Fantastic musicianship for Paranoid Android
Dizzy Rascal greatest act ever
Enjoying Royal Blood but overall thin pickings today
Clean bandit are putting on a show, fair play
just done Strikes " you sure do " and doing " rockabye "
If this was the good old days of events like Monsters of Rock, it would be very, very different. Great up tempo sets, no Tarquin and Tarquinettas - those sneaking in would get taken out by flying bottles of piss...
Whether you like or loathe them, Radiohead are capable of producing their work live to a really high standard. Like a few others I enjoyed their earlier stuff and I think they're worthy headliners for a Festival.
Having said all that, I've always got more pleasure from finding stuff that's slightly off the beaten track and that's increased as I've got older...
