Billy Bodin. Latest name linked to us. Bristol Rovers attacking midfielder. Son of Paul I believe.

Paul Bodin, rings a bell, I must be suppressing that name for a reason.

Chelsea in for Barkley according to that. Is it me or has Barkley done nothing in his career to warrant such a move?

Paul Bodin used to ring our bell.
After us he played for Bath City he had a part time job collecting life insurance premiums door to door.

After that penalty against Romania, not surprised tbh.

Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
Crystal Palace are interested in Leicester winger Demarai Gray and have suggested a possible swap deal with Andros Townsend, according to Sky sources.
Frank de Boer wants Gray to bolster his options as he continues to develop a more progressive, passing style to the way Palace play. But Leicester are adamant they don't want to sell Gray, and are currently negotiating a new contract with the England under-21 international.
Craig Shakespeare likes Townsend, and Leicester spoke to Palace about him earlier in the window, but we understand the asking price of over £25m was too much for Leicester to consider, and they've moved on.
Leicester rejected a bid of £20m from Bournemouth for Gray earlier in this window.[/B]

-----------------
Abysmal business from Leicester if true and they are showing zero ambition. Townsend...........
Gray is one of the best prospects in the country.
Elsewhere Sky have said Sterling definitely isn't moving.

The normal MO for that is to copy almost word for word a thread that is still on the front page, there's 3 or 4 on Zohore and Everton you could have started another one of those :frown:

Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
Any word on Ledley finding a club?
-
Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
Messi has put in transfer request as he wants to play for a certain club in England.
Wolves are considering his interest.

Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
Would love to see Bale leave Real and return to the PL in this transfer window
-
Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
Fulham look like they might get Dwight Gayle for 15million.
Would be a great signing, was outstanding last season, Newcastle were average when he was missing.
Fulham have to be up there with the favourites

Too late, somebody just did another one, although to be fair they added 'Definitive' in the title. Upped the ante with that one, BOOM!

I can't believe West Brom have signed Krychowiak on loan. What a coup! He was probably one of the top 3 defensive midfielders in Europe before joining PSG last season and he will now compete with 93 year-old Gareth Barry for a starting berth. Crazy times.

Brighton have turned down an offer from Reading for stiker Hemed!

Great signing. Made for the PL. PSG are probably fattening him up for market.

Is this thread official now?

Excellent signing
They've also bought Oliver Burke from Red Bull Leipzig, this has been a very good window for West Brom

Renato Sanches on loan to Swansea. Shit, that's a great deal for them.

Unfortunately Swansea already look better than 4/5 teams in the PL.

Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
Birmingham agree 6 mil fee with Brentford for Jota. Looks like Harry is going to be his usual busy self on deadline day. The amount of money at the disposal of championship clubs this season is staggering.

Perfect for them really.
Spend next to zero money and stay up.
But! If we go up, I'd prefer they are there.

Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
Sky Jim will be shouting out the transfers later today

Yep not happy about that. Still a chance Llorente leaves today though. Hopefully they waste some cash on Bony and let him go

Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
Noone to Bolton Wanderers.
-
Re: Transfer deadline day thread...
So it's going to be a busy day.
Declan John to Rangers - season loan to buy.
Craig Noone to Bolton - season loan with part wages covered - not great but no better offers
Stuart O'Keefe to Portsmouth - nominal fee
Matty Kennedy to the bench
Anthony Pilkington to the bench
Fred Guonongbe to Everton - £20m fee with sell on clause - but only if they can remember which cupboard he was locked in!
Mystery French attacking midfielder to Cardiff on a free - same agent that unearthed Damour
Joe Ledley on a pay-as-you-play deal to January.
That's my crystal ball exhausted. The Guonongbe deal won't happen because they can't remember which cupboard he's in.

Llorente is 100% gone.
