Re: BRIGHTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
In 30 years of watching the city i can't ever remember paying any attention to who the ref is going to be before. Seems everything now.

Re: BRIGHTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I am expecting a couple of changes. Niasse to start perhaps with Reid at the expense of either Hoilett or Murphy.
Mind you i dont think Ken let the side down Saturday. He was no worse than most of the team, and if Junior had connected properly with his cross, who knows what might have happened?

Re: BRIGHTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I don't know why we're still trying long balls, we can play right through these.
-
Re: BRIGHTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Gunners making some big tackles around the edge of the box, really wish he would stay

With our wingers we can run around them. The ball isn't sticking with Niasse at all, I think he should try moving a bit closer to support Mendez or Hoilett.

Re: BRIGHTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I need a cigarette watching this and haven't smoked one since 1981!

Re: BRIGHTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The home fans are getting very impatient. It's time to put this to bed.

Re: BRIGHTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This game would suit Ken I think.

Re: BRIGHTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The pace of Zohore may be a decent option now, but I'd be loathe to change the winning formula thus far.

I agree.
We look far more dangerous when we keep it on the ground and press forward with the ball carrier.. just like the NML goal.

Re: BRIGHTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
What’s the team talk?
Soak up whatever they got 2nd half and try and nick one on the break or go for the 2nd to really rub the salt in?
-
Re: BRIGHTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I think that might be the first time this season we have led away from home at half time ?

A 2nd would kill the game.

We can't really afford to sit back and soak it up ......... We play better when we actually go forward
Zahore, Murphy & Reid ........ on the break would rip these apart - fresh legs
