Haven't had this one for a long time, so dont know whether or not to slag him off or not.
Nice Christian name though. 🙂

Opta stats
- Cardiff last hosted Preston in the Championship back in December 2017, losing 1-0 at the Cardiff City Stadium. They last lost consecutive home league games against them in January 2000.
- Preston have won three of their last four league matches against Cardiff (L1), one more than they managed in their previous 11 games against the Bluebirds.
- Having lost just once in their 10 home league games this season (W7 D2), Cardiff are looking to win three consecutive home games in the Championship since a run of seven straight victories in March 2018.
- Preston have lost four of their last five away league games (W1), scoring just one goal in the process.
- Cardiff playmaker Lee Tomlin has been directly involved in nine goals in his last nine league games (4 goals, 5 assists), providing an assist in each of his last four appearances.
- No Championship side has scored more goals via set-pieces (inc. pens) than Preston North End this season (16).
Couple of shocks there. Must be injuries. Team looks a bit weak in midfield.
Problems in defence. I've got a feeling there'll be lots of goals in this one. Shirley we can't afford to give them an easy start again though.
Hoping someone had a nailed on stream for this one. Thought it’d be on over here but can’t find it
Slow start by us. Preston looking to spread the ball. Why can't we start fast and take the game to them?
We don't look like we're interested. Preston are first to everything.
Remember when Harris said he didn't like the slow start against Leeds? Half our team seem to be still in bed. :hehe:
only one team look like scoring....NML and Murphy anonymous....smart save by Etheridge....
there are very few positive options going forward
28 minutes to have a crack at goal. Come on City, got to step up the pace a bit.
every single long ball clearance hoof ball has ended up with the opposition
What an insipid first half...reflected by the lack of posts. SHould be at least 1-0 to Preston.
I'm hoping this is a gradual transition from Warnock.
That was very poor.
Our midfield seem to have a negatuve and safety first mentality. Literally look for sideways or backwards passes every time they get possession.
Murphy also needs offloading asap.
Waiting to go behind before we start playing again?
"Finished strong" would be an overstatement, but there was definitely some improvement towards the end of the half.
Need some impact....Whyte for Murphy.....Ward on....some energy.....
This is incredibly boring.
Madine AND Ward....thank goodness Murphy gone off.
Love the crowd's reaction to Murphy being subbed. He deserves the stick.
Now can we please start to press their defence and up the tempo?
I wouldn't care if I didn't see Murphy in a City shirt again.
A one trick pony who used to run at people with pace (albeit with no end product) and he doesn't even do that any more. Totally disinterested and we were robbed with what we paid for him.
Looking better now....City...not Murphy....
This is worse than under Warnock.
2 attempts so far all game, 0 on target.
If Harris thinks this is acceptable at home, regardless of the result, then he can think again.
lol...madine actually slows down when he sprints!!!
Hard to believe we were playing in the Premier league last season, 80 minutes gone and no shots on target and only 2 off target! Why are we so terrible in these Saturday 12.30pm kick offs on sky
As dreadfully boring as this has been, it only needs a goal to take the points. Time for Tomlin magic.
We just don't know what to do with the ball. Always hoping for Tomlin magic.
It’s a no brainier to take the points, but **** sake these performances can’t carry on. We don’t know what do do when we have the ball.
Etheridge played well at least.
But my god that was shit.
Bring on January!
1 point against the team in 3rd? You could argue it was a decent result, I suppose.
