Oh no
Last City game Langford was....you've guessed it:
Preston v City season before last
3-0 to Preston
Anyway we can get him changed?

That was his last game when we were away. a few weeks later we beat Ipswich at home with Langford in charge.

Team no change from Leeds
-
Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Disappointed neither Glatzel or Mendez are starting but it's a winning side so can't complain too much.

Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I’m not too familiar with the PNE squad
Who are their standout players at the moment?

Just what I was thinking. I dont really recognize any of their players. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

And every one of our league wins has come when we've had less than 50% possession...

Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We can’t keep hold of the ball. Too many sloppy passes and slips
A few better balls by Preston in final third we’d be in trouble

Watching this game so far you’d wonder how either of these are near the top 6

Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Who did the commentator say was a Cardiff city fan then?

Yes, we don't win on the rare occasions we have more than 50%

Yeah I agree. I'm not overly fussed on us with the ball so much as we don't really know how to use it. Preston ain't up to much..famous last words..

Harris should have sorted that out at the water break!

Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Hoilett held on to the ball far too long then. They all seem to do it. Acres on the right...
-
Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Preston pressing....Morrison having a good game.
-
Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
If they don’t change their studs at half time I’ll be shocked. They’re slipping everywhere and one mistake could cost us the game
Morrison has been MOM so far

Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Why do I get the feeling we're just waiting till 60th-70th minute to bring Tomlin and Glatzel on?
Preston are there to be beaten, we're playing the more defensive options.
-
Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bacunas done nothing today
Bring him off for Tomlin

Bacuna’s doing fine, but I don’t think Joe Bennett has found his man with one pass attempt... I’m screaming at him here 🤣

Don’t think they need Bacuna today with Ralls and Vaulks. Someone in at 10 would open up the space
-
Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Why is our passing and ball retention so poor again?
-
Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Looks like 1 goal will win this one.
-
Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Glatzel and Tomlin on please
-
Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This look to be a game in which Tomlin could do really well.
-
Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I wish we’d pick the tempo up a touch, if not for us but for the millions watching across the world.
