Quite often hard to remember some of the players that have graced our shirt or were complete flops!

Id have Bywater as the keeper.

JET instead of Zaha.

Alan Wright at left back? He wasn't great for us though was he. Matt Brazier was good as well before we signed him permanently.

I'd have Bywater as a rival for Dimi, J Lloyd Samuel must be a candidate for the worst team as well and you could say second spell Koumas as well - think you're being harsh on Zaha, I think of him as generally being poor in home games for us, but I thought he played well quite often when we were away.

If youre going to put Riggott in based on him being quality in the few games he had how the heck is Ravel Morrison in the worst team?

He was quality in the few minutes he had on the pitch.

I ago along with Matt Brazier for left back.

camarasa was a good loan move, although not as good as Ramsey or koumas

Matt Brazier at left back? Was great on loan. Less so when he actually signed but still

how about loans like Liam Feeney or Jamie ward.

brought in as cover only but basically blocked any chance of youth players getting game time

immers was good in his loan spell.

Tom Lawrence was pretty crap

Peter Zois

James Harper in central midfield. always thought he'd go on to bigger things

Wayne Routledge was quality for the short time he was with us.

Who was that bald head fella, we had from Arsenal about 1994/5. Played up front. ??

Alan Wright is a great shout for missing left back position.

Zaha at Newcastle was very good but, given his pedigree and huge expectation, I thought he was a massive flop.

This is a good idea for a thread!

Can we have Koumas in the best AND worst? Absolutely unbelievable in his first spell but almost completely anonymous in the second.

Also are you permitted to include a player who was really good during their loan spell but then turned out not to be when they signed permanently (e.g. Andy Campbell, Sexy Lexy)? If not, then can we have Steve Finnieston instead of Andy Shambles?

Fan Zhiyi is a candidate for the worst rather than the best loan team! Leon Barnett did a great job at the tail end of our promotion season under Malky

Had a long lower league career.

Billy Woof up front

1 game on loan in 1982 (a winner in the last minutes against Wigan)

Manic woofing celebrations on the Bob Bank - he could go in either side as we never saw him again as he buggered off back up north after the game

I'd just have him in so we could all do the barking celebrations again

Theres a serious lack of CB's in our loan history!!

Lappin played twice for us and was sent off in one of them

was Dion Sanderson that good for us?
he played about 10 times but was increasingly targeted by opposition teams during that time. and since leaving us in now on loan at a lower level

Not enough to get in best XI but Danny Hill was good loan come permanent signing. Got promoted with Frankie Burrows side late 90s. Good side that.

Does Glenn Loovens count? He was on loan originally then we signed him.

I'd find a place for Michael Chopra in the best and J Lloyd Samuel RIP in the worst Sorry J.

Oh, and Steven Bywater was terrible as well.

If the worst XI are still lacking up front can I add Kyle Lightbourne to the line up.

Was Ndumbu-Nsungu on loan and I believe we signed Warren Feeney on loan before we signed him permanently. Based on what I've seen of Osei-Tutu so far, I'd rate him above Sanderson.

Well remembered... Leon Barnett did a great job in the couple of months he was with us
