As I posted last night he is on his way over as we speak.
Disappointed it hasn't worked out for the lad, but hopefully this will free up wages for another striker.

Jordan Rhodes :hehe:
Mick OUT
Hope this isn't true.
He hasn't worked out but he's a reasonable quality player who can score the dd goal unlike Rhodes who's a washed out player Sheffield Wednesday had to replace with Callum Patterson.
McCarthy looks set to fill the team up with washed up players that once did a job for him.
Then if he leaves in the summer, we’ll have another costly rebuild.
On the other hand, if he stays, then we can look forward to another season of Clogball.
Being a Cardiff City fan really is out there!
You are joking right?
Bobby G has been an expensive mistake which is a shame as he seems to give it a right go when he plays.
But these weird excuses that we somehow don’t play to his strengths hardly justify any sort of return on £5.5m
I’m sorry that it hasn’t worked out for him here but he isn’t up to it as Moore has shown.
That's a good move for him. Maybe he'll score another hattrick against Bayern. :hehe::hehe::hehe::hehe::hehe:
German window has now closed... (not saying it won't happen!)
Deal done:

Forward Robert Glatzel has today joined Bundesliga side 1. FSV Mainz 05 on loan for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign.
Glatzel has scored eleven goals in all competitions for the Bluebirds since joining from 1. FC Heidenheim in August 2019.
We'd like to wish Robert all the very best of luck while away from CCS.
and right on cue, it's official
well im gutted...
its just a loan :tumbleweed:
It was odd watching Zohore on Saturday - him and Glatzel are very similar. Every now and then they pull off a brilliant strike, and you think "Yes, this is it, he's going to be great", but it doesn't last long, and soon you're cursing him again. Zohore = Glatzel.
All promise, but no delivery.
To be fair Zohore had a period where he was a serious threat , power , pace and a great shot.
Glatzel doesnt really have any of them attributes but does try.
Zohore we did get a big fee for. Glatzel we will be lucky to get a small fee.
Zohore looked terrible Saturday though.
People seem to be forgetting Mark Harris too.
I thought he did okay when Neil Harris threw him in after our first bad run of results, he was ahead of Glatzel.
Took a bit of stick after that decent spell of results ended and he seemed to be made an escaped goat of.
If Mick can somehow get a bit more than NH from our MF in the way of some kind of service, he should bag a few and ease the pressure.
Possibly.
How much of that can be attributed to his teammates though.
If he's running the channels and nobody is picking him out whats he supposed to do?
Our best players like Wilson, Hoilett even Kieffer himself struggle if their teammates are playing poorly or off form.
God knows we've had our fair share of those this season.
Hitting long balls down the channels is something that our players aren't completely terrible at doing.
What does Harris actually do when he does get service? He's not shown any ability to beat a man and he doesn't get crosses into the box. He doesn't seem to be a natural finisher either. He just runs around a lot.
Whyte is injured.

Seems to be doing OK with Hull.
Putting a shift in is the one thing that Whyte can do and Harris has squandered a few decent chances since he scored against Luton.
Harris is younger and didn't cost us £2m, but apart from that I don't really see much difference between the two of them.
I'm hoping that Watters gets a run of games playing up front with Moore.
