Mehmet's new transfer policy revelation
Since he advised the supporters group of our new transfer policy have we been linked with anybody young, fit and with any sell on value?

No.

Abbey Clancy, she’s fit :hehe:

Re: Mehmet's new transfer policy revelation
Were you not literally advocating for Harry Arter to be signed two days ago :hehe:

Watters and Ng (were examples he gave of the club's policy).

He is better than we have in my opinion.
Given the alternative appears to be diddly squat then I stand by my original judgment on that.

He said they were examples of it. Jonny Williams has just turned 27, for what it's worth. I don't think it's any great surprise we're not linked with anyone given we sacked our manager with under 2 weeks to go and we're skint.

Pedro you are coming across very Comical Ali in defence of the club lately. Almost dml1954 like.

I'm trying to stay positive before I descend into misery when we give Martyn Waghorn a 3.5 year deal. FWIW, I think Watters and Ng (the latter especially) are signings with good intentions, as was the very exciting (and bullshit) Jephcott rumour :hehe:

I have no idea if he's a wind up or not. Wants better quality football yet leads the charge of the Harry Arter defence force, then has a pop at Dalman and the transfer policy despite wanting the club to sign old cloggers to play in midfield. You can't make it up.
-
Re: Mehmet's new transfer policy revelation
I think the key is paying fees for younger players with sell on value and then adding elsewhere experience of required by loan.

You can't have an opinion on here remember that Lewj, the self important, always in the right sanctimonious old gits will jump all over you.

Sadly we seem to be doing that the other way round

And that was why I asked it.
The Artur issue was a totally different issue and I stand by what I said there. For me he is better than we have got.
Mehmet Dalman saying we will sign young and then being linked with every over the hill player in the Championship and lower goes against that a bit.
As for JR saying I've had a mare. Neil Harris you plonker.

It would be hypocritical had he said he would rather Arter over fast, young, hungry players, he didn't.

Re: Mehmet's new transfer policy revelation
Exactly. One is preferring a midfielder over what we have.
The other is questioning why Dalman hailed our new transfer policy and we're being linked with Williams and Rhodes.

Dalman said he wanted a new type of manager, an attacking manager then hired Harris. I wouldn't listen to much but I'd also say our work so far this window does follow what he said.
Maybe we never wanted Rhodes.

If Waghorn comes on loan, is he worse than Glatzel? If it's a permanent deal, well, that's just compounding the issue! I am not excited but they're his signings, clearly. As for midfielders, we absolutely need a midfielder (or 3!) but I guess they can't shift anyone of them. If the club wasn't run into the ground in the Warnock era, then we wouldn't be in this mess!
