I can't be arsed looking Mr Stroud up, as we all know the T**T
6-0 to Watford, with 3 pelanties, 2 sending offs for City players and Magic Mick sent to the stands
Nuf said.
The guys a tosser
He was the fool who denied Bambas winning goal at Millwall 3 years ago and gave us a free kick outside the box instead. Let play go on a good few seconds after Bennett was fouled and then blew up just as Bamba was putting it in the net
Bad feeling about this one, could see us getting a bit of a hiding. Hopefully Ng is back, with Pack and Bacuna back in the team as well.
City 0 - 3 Watford
I've seen Watford a few times on the telly lately and they've been nothing special. We beat them remember a few weeks ago.Not sure that they can cope with our 'giants', up top or in defence.
Important that Ng and Pack come into the team. I would prefer Ojo instead of Murphy, but MM may think differently. Assume Brown will play left back, could be a worry as Watford like to play an expansive game.
Form table says this weekend is hardest game left this month.Quote:
Lee Tomlin and Jordi Osei-Tutu will not feature for Cardiff City this weekend, however Perry Ng will be back in contention for the clash with Watford.
Regarding Osei-Tutu: "We are not planning on him playing yet, though. He has got two under-23s games first."
Cardiff's under-23s play against QPR on March 16 before facing Birmingham City on March 22. So, by that logic, it appears as though he will miss not only the clash with Watford this weekend, but also the Stoke City game and the South Wales derby with Swansea City on March 20.

Watford are shit, We're not losing this. 2-0 to city with Moore tearing them a new one and not even looking that bothered about it.
I assume Brown will be at LWB which will offer far less going forward, but having extra cover against Sarr not such a bag thing for this one. Ng and Pack back in the team please. Tight game, 1-0 City from a set piece :)
I thought Brown showed a lack of pace when he came on.
Well this can be a first real opportunity for a lot of us to see what Brown is all about. He'll have been training for the left wing back role all week and hopefully we will be a bit more balanced than we were against Huddersfield
I'm going for a score-draw. Hopefully.
I'm usually wrong, so I'll go for 1-3
Watford's matchday thread is a thing to behold, fair play.

Watford dont concede many, but dont score a lot either(touch wood). If they win it will be by the odd goal, but I am quietly confident we will not lose.
Watford fans not that confident either judging by their comments, so fingers crossed we might be pleasantly surprised by 5pm this afternoon(UK time, midnight yours!)
1-1

:hehe:
Interesting point about Moore and Wilson being one booking short of a match ban. Is that right?
Match facts
- This is the first meeting between Cardiff and Watford at the Cardiff City Stadium since February 2019 in the Premier League, a 5-1 win for the Hornets.
- Watford are looking to win three consecutive away league matches against Cardiff for the first time since September 2007.
- Cardiff are unbeaten in their last 11 league matches – all under Mick McCarthy – their best run since a 13-game stretch between January and April 2018 during their last Championship promotion-winning season.
- Only Norwich City (33) have won more Championship points since Xisco Muñoz’s first game in charge on Boxing Day than Watford (32).
- Cardiff’s Mick McCarthy last faced Watford in 2014-15 with Ipswich, completing a league double over the Hornets.
we need a very good performance, will we get one?
Just watching Swansea game. Wind is going to have a big influence on our match. We will need to get our crosses right though.
Do we want to win today? Or let Watford win and dent the jacks hopes of promotion?
Ng and Brown start, otherwise an unchanged team, Watters on the bench.
Cardiff City: Phillips; Morrison, Flint, Nelson; Ng, Vaulks, Ralls, Brown; Wilson; Murphy, Moore.
Subs: Smithies, Sang, Bacuna, Pack, Williams, Hoilett, Ojo, Watters, Harris.
Watford: Bachmann; Femenia, Troost-Ekong, Sierralta, Masina; Hughes, Chalobah, Zinckernagel; Sarr, Pedro, Sema.
Subs: Foster, Ngakia, Lazaar, Wilmot, Cathcart, Sanchez, Hungbo, Gray, Success.
Bit surprised Ralls starts. Team looked better when Pack came on.
Glad Ng is back, I think he was badly missed, would prefer Pack to Ralls though, he’s more likely to find Murphy with accuracy than Ralls. I’m still of the opinion that Murphy can shine with the right service.
Ralls is a strange one, looked rusty and poor against Huddersfield
Hopefully the break will have helped some of our tired players
Interesting to see how brown performs, seems more of a CB to me, we need that width from that side, I'd have liked Hoilett but let's wait and see, great to see him get a chance at the same time.
