Went to dreams in Bridgend 3 years ago , utter horse shit
Was recommended EVE memory foam , totally useless , just sweated on that and no support
Any decent online suppliers out there ?
Any decent places in Bridgend, Cardiff ?
Cheers
Dreams really were utter shite !

Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
A little bit further afield .Sweet Dreams in Skewen are first class.

Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
There’s a cockney bloke from the apprentice a few years ago that does them.
“Bosh” beds.

Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
We got ourselves a Simba Hybrid Pro last Christmas. When it arrived the box just didn't look big enough, but when you open it (open it on the bed or you'll never shift it) you just wont think itll turn into a mattress that's almost 1ft deep.
Admittedly our old mattress was crap, but this one is fantastic. Whilst its deep and supportive I was amazed how cool it stayed during the recent hot weather.

Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
My relationship was going through a bad patch and I bought a water bed to spice things up a bit. Unfortunately, we just drifted apart.

Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
everyone will recommend a memory foam as they are the biggest profit margin by far, but they are all shite. totally emperor's New clothes.
they are all far too soft and hot.
I buy the hardest pocket sprung mattress I can find and it's great.
last one was a Seeley ultra firm or something like that.
tried it out at SCS or somewhere then ordered it from mattresses.com

Don't pocket sprung mattresses have a tendency to dig into your back ? Those widgets pegging everything down ?

My doctor advised me to not use memory foam if you had back issues , he suggested that the foam molds into your shape therefore replicating your poor sleeping position that maybe causing the back problem ,whereas a heavy sprung mattress provides much needed support ??

Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
We've had two dunlopillos, and about to buy another for a new bedroom. I am a back sufferer and find them great, hefty price but worth it for me.

Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
Had good service and was impressed by the range of beds they had in Leekes of Llantrisant.

That's out of my budget

Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
Thought you recently bought an EMMA one?
-
Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
Simba sell off their returned mattresses on eBay fully professionally cleaned and refurbished.
You can get a £700 mattress at times for £150.
Bought one for the spare room and it’s actually nicer than the main mattress we have. Depends how fussy you are sleeping on something used.
There’s also a guy on YouTube that reviews mattresses and gives you an idea what’s best for you dependant on weight and way you sleep

Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
The best person to ask for mattress advice appears to be Sian (62) from Cardiff. Her mattress, along with her hips and dodgy knee, have had a bit of a workout recently.

That wouldn't bother me at all , it's the fact these memory foam mattresses are rubbish imo

Yeah it's perfect for me, so much better than these soft beds.
The only problem I had with it was getting a kingsize one up a very narrow staircase into my bedroom. The thing is so firm it was practically impossible to get it around the corner - took about half an hour and a lot of effort.
They had one on display in DFS or SCS so we tried them out then ordered the one we liked the best from mattresses.com

I guess that once you've deflated your female companion you don't need anything bigger.

Re: Online Mattress Suppliers
I'm very lucky in that I could sleep on a scaffold plank.
