Well Done Steve Morison
All credit today. A difficult start with injuries and a mountain to climb after the first half performance. I'm really pleased with him and desperately hoping we improve even more over the next two matches. If so we may well have found our new manager. I'm rooting for Steve.

Re: Well Done Steve Morison
Totally agree.
Would never have happened under McMick.
-
Re: Well Done Steve Morison
I'd also prefer him to Flynn.
As many have said, if he wasn't managing a team so close to Cardiff recently Flynn would be nowhere near the job.
-
Re: Well Done Steve Morison
Morison's never lost a game in senior management.
Actual football genius.

Re: Well Done Steve Morison
I would say going 3-0 meant we had nothing to lose and allowed us to go for it but then we haven’t seen any kind of fight back previously under MM.
Let’s hope it’s a turning point or at least a step in the right direction.

That point and comeback will no doubt feel like a win in that dressing room. Another few days of training and we go into the next game a bit more confident :ayatollah:

I agree. I like the idea of Morison getting more time but our defence is shambolic. I know he is the club captain but Morrisson and Nelson should not be in the team. Flint can count himself unlucky today.
I would bring him back and add Pack to the central defence

thumbs up from me.well done

Re: Well Done Steve Morison
A positive team formation from the very start
3 at the back instead of our usual 5 lol 😂

Giles assisted 2 (one disallowed) but would Brown have even got that far forward never mind provided a good cross.

Re: Well Done Steve Morison
Must give the whole squad a big boost now for two home games

At the moment I don't see a place for Bagan, to fragile.
Oddly I would keep the same back 5 but get Pack and Ralls in front of them. I can see why they could be changed but I think with a little bit of confidence thuley could become the basis for some form.

Bowen’s almost certainly out injured and I wouldn’t rely on Ralls being available. I’d keep Giles at wing back and probably bring Harris in for Evans.

Yes good shout, I wasn't sure how long Bowen and Ralls would be out for. Too early for Zimba on the bench Bob, in place of Collins?

I guess if he didnt make the bench today he won't.

He did assist 2. He passed the ball to Colwill.

Even better

Re: Well Done Steve Morison
Former Wales international as manager and three current Wales internationals as goal scorers. When did that last happen for City?

Re: Well Done Steve Morison
Looks like we're forgetting Harris. I know a few people who don't rate him, but everything changed when he came on (for the pretty ineffective Evans). Credit where credit is due.

I don’t think much of Harris but maybe Morison knows how to use him better. He made an impact.

If Harris doesn’t start midweek after turning a 3-0 game on its head then it’s a scandal I tell you.

Weren't we 2 down at Peterborough a good few weeks back with 5 minutes to go and grabbed a draw?
-
Re: Well Done Steve Morison
Giles is a wing back and he hope he stays there, playing him as a forward was madness
His best attacking attributes are his pace and crossing, they are best utilised playing as a wing back.

agreed. I much prefer wingers who can track back a bit rather than defenders who can attack a bit
