He's really coming along well
Good.
Glen Williams is reporting that he’s signed a deal until 2025. Great news.
Excellent.
Great news, would be great if he really fulfills his potential
Great news, really stepping up. Still plenty to work on as expected. Hoping for a real big season from him next season.
Confirmed on CCFC site...
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season with City’s First Team, having first linked up with the Club at the age of seven. He has made nine starts and 13 sub appearances for the Bluebirds so far in all competitions, scoring on two occasions and assisting three times.
Davies' new deal will run until the summer of 2025.
Great news. Especially if he turns out to be the new Michael Owen.
Premier League clubs do take punts on youngsters, offer a non Premier club, say £2/3 million, which a lot would take in these troubled times. Up the youngster’s wages, then loan him out, covering part of the increased wage, to see how he fares.
If they unearth a gem they’re laughing, if not it’s no spilt milk.
There’s a good long interview with Isaak on the club website where he touches on Steve Morison’s criticism of him after the Bournemouth game.
He didn't have a problem with it - and was grateful for Morison's support, encouragement and pushing him.
Also credited Ramasut, Hudson, the Academy coaches and Bellers.
Very interesting interview - worth watching. Seems to be very level headed and clear about what he needs to do to get better.
Danny Gabbidon pictured with him signing the contract. Is Gabbs his agent or a mentor - not sure from EJFOF comments?

what's going on with Ken Choo's head here
The view on here that Isaac Davies is a potential Premier league player is admirable but I happen to disagree. Yes he does run around a lot, has pace, is young and has potential are all plusses but there must be other youngsters in other clubs that do all of these things but will be nowhere near Premier League standard. I very much doubt whether Isaac Davies will end up as a Premier league player; more likely he will end up as a League 1 or Championship player at best.

Absolutely. It's just there have been so many false dawns over the years that I can't help being pessimistic when a new face arrives in the team either from within our ranks or from another team. I think many of us have been guilty of over enthusing about new players only to find the promising ones hardly ever make it to Premier League level and I put Isaac Davies in that category. But I hope I'm wrong.
