Yeah that’s up there for sure.
QPR playoffs
Chopra v Swansea but the Belgium game probably pips it for me
Brazil 4 -1 Italy
1970 World Cup Final
In recent times, yes it has to be THAT Wales game.
Leicester in the play-off's for me.

One of the most exhilarating games I've been at in my life by far.
We lost, but beat them on pens. What a mental game it was.
Leeds in the FA Cup, what atmosphere.
Wales V Italy for an international at the millennium stadium
City 2 - 0 Hereford
White shite 0 - 1 City leigh Barnhard
Middlesbrough 0 - 2 City
Hull 0 - 2 City
I’ll go for three, Wales 3 Belgium 1, Middlesbrough 0 City 2 and City 3 Man City 2.
The title winning game at Scunthorpe under Eddie. Brilliant day. Just pips Wrexham away just before.
The play off win and the promotion clinchers to the PL too nerve wracking to enjoy.
Favourite Welsh game beating Spain 3 nil at Wrexham with the Hughes wonder goal.
Yes...that is the one for me......supporting them since 1959.....the atmosphere was incredible under the lights...I think we went down to 9 men towards the end...?
The one that comes close was City v Everton at Ninian Park under floodlights when Derek Tapscot went in goal after an injury to my nom de plum....we held on to win 3-2.
The other of course was CIty v Middlesborough which kept us up....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Farrell
Wales 3-1 Belgium
Leicester in the playoffs
We had 11 on the pitch v Leicester in the semis.
There was a game v Leicester mid week when Gypes I think rugby tackled one of their players and was sent off.
It was p!ssing down I think Paul Quinn was playing centre back at the end. The atmosphere was incredible.
It definitely wasnt the play off game though.
In person would have to be Wales - Russia in the Euros. Just a party from start to finish. Had to watch the Belgium game on TV otherwise that would obviously be higher.
Going up against QPR literally had me in tears, but somehow that game will always be bigger.
The atmosphere was truly incredible. I think that, coupled with literally being on the edge of your seat for 90+ mins, and then the sheer elation of winning a pelanty shootout...
My nerves were shot, but in the best possible way :hehe:
Fulham 1 City 5 , 1968
Best away day ever as teenagers
City 2 - 1 Leyton Orient 1995
Cardiff 3-0 Villa. Nice day. Great performance and a result which was never in doubt. And a rare treat for me, which added to the occasion.
City 3-2 Spurs, a Saturday night in March 1962. The game was switched because Wales were playing 5 Nations game in the afternoon. Incredible game and atmosphere, gate stated as 45k plus but there must have been 10k more you couldn’t move in the ground. Only downside City got relegated that season and to show fickle support was even then, next home game against Villa and under 12k there.
Spurs did the double that season.
Cardiff v Leeds in the F.A. cup. cracking atmosphere. Never forget that day.
Probably naked mud wrestling. Really don't think that it had much to do with football!
Same here for Wales games I also could only watch Belgium on the tv
Best city games away at Wrexham definitely, a 4-3 at Derby, bambas magic at Brentford, far cup semi for our first Wembley trip and only victory.
As a neutral I was at Highbury for arsenal 2 man united 6 where Lee Sharpe did his dancing
I thought it was games I was at (misread), for international I’d also say the Belgium game.
For games attending;
Wales 3-1 Belgium
City 3-2 Man City
City v Leicester in the play offs
City v Leeds FA Cup game
City 2 Hereford 0
14.04.1976
35, 549.
Cambridge 0 - 0 Cardiff City 👍
Has to be City vs Leeds FA Cup, January 2002. Can't believe it was over 20 years ago! What a night.
Like others, I'd say City v Leeds in the cup.
For what was a 'normal' domestic game, ie not a final or anything..it was something else. I still remember coming down Cowbridge Road and hearing singing from the pubs all the way and that was about 12.30.
Was right behind the goal in The Grange End. Incredible day
For city, I loved Leicester playoffs away when Whitts scored that free kick.
But it’s gotta be wales against Belgium or Slovakia.
As mentioned earlier, Fulham 1 The City 5 (when me & Bluetit were nippers), the Belgium quarter final, Middlesbrough in the quarter final knowing we were going to Wembley in the FA Cup for the first time since 1927.
Wales v Spain in 1985
Mark Hughes spectacular scissor kick
I dislocated my shoulder trying to replicate that goal and was taken to East Glamorgan hospital to sort lol
Painful memory
My other most favourite goal was Andy Campbell’s in the play off final
We were behind that goal
Great game
Fantastic result
Even better weekend ⚽️🤩
For games I've been too it would be Leicester away in the prem a few years back when Camarasa hit that belter at the end of the game, or Dnipro v Sevilla in the europa league final about 8 years ago, superb game of football with some of the best counter attacking football I've seen at a game.
Non City/Wales just for the quality of play - my dad took me to Arsenal - Wimbledon the Invincibles season and they won 5-0 I think, although could have easily been double digits. Blew them off the park.
Also the only 2. Bundesliga game I ever got to ended up 10-2 to the home team, so I guess that also sticks in the memory.
City 3 Swansea 3 1980.
John Buchanan’s bullet free kick.
I was in the Bob bank, and have never seen a City goal celebrated so wildly since, and that includes the injury time equaliser against Liverpool at Wembley.
I’d say the most elated I’ve been after a game was the FA Cup final semi-final v Barnsley in 2008. Knowing City had reached the final and I’d be there to watch it had me on Cloud 9 for the 5 weeks leading up to it.
1927 final it was a great day.
