Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
2-1 City, the positivity continues
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
Same team as last night but Robinson for one of the strikers. 1-1.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
Obviously hoping for a home win building on the Birmingham result but Carroll for them is a worry against our pretty suspect aerial defence.
An optimistic 2-1 The City.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
Carroll is mighty impressive in the air.
I really hope Ince doesn’t play five at the back. We are awful. When he switches to a conventional back four we are better.
Someone to watch out for is Femi Azeez who is very pacy. He has had huge injury problems but is just breaking back into the side and looking good. Tom Ince has been our stand out. Our central midfield is very ordinary.
If we score first then we will drop deep very quickly. We will not be pretty to watch. Our away form is dismal. Our home record is the third best in the League.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
Agree with Robinson back in, his two penalties have been abysmal but he’s our most quality player by a distance.

Saw a stat yesterday on twitter that he'd contributed to just shy of half our goals this season and joined 8 games into the season. He is pivotal to our survival.

Madness and you’re right. Passionate, a leader and capable of that bit of quality.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
Waking up at 4:00am to watch this MASSIVE game.
Thinly veiled "please don't **** it up" post.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
On a shitty and miserable day weather-wise, let's hope Robinson starts and we get a few days of sunshine on the pitch later this evening.
Here's to hopefully another good result and turning the tide

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
Knowing City going be a big disappointment tonight.
Hopefully grab a draw.
0-0

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
As this game was scheduled to be tomorrow, as a Christmas present to my lady I unselfishly bought two tickets to see La Traviata in Bristol this evening. Opera is not my cup of tea but I thought I would be selfless - and now I am to forego watching the boys in blue playing poorly whilst I am subjected to listening to people holler unspeakable things in Italian. Not ideal.
By the way, the name Guiseppe Verde sounds less impressive when you think it's the equivalent of Joe Green.

My favourite opera by a mile. We've seen it in Arena di Verona a couple of times which was breathtaking. Have a great time.

The Overture is absolutely beautiful.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
Drinking song from La Traviata. I doubt whether Chesney Hawkes or Barry Manilow could top Pavarotti's performance here.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
How does a thread about City v. Reading turn in to an opera love in?
It's too highbrow for me, I prefer Gilbert and Sullivan
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
Perfect game for wickham kaba and Etete all to start. It’s a stinker already

4-4-2, no messing around! keep'em guessing.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
Clearly he's expecting Reading to come for a point.
And he has the b*lls to go for the win - deserves to be rewarded
Go on, City, give it to them tonight

343 IMO.
Philogene at right wing back where he ended the last game.
Robinson etete and Kaba up top
Or Robinson as the 10 to drop back into midfield

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread
Interesting line up. Looks attacking, hopefully doesn’t leave us open at the back.
