They have gone through the whole league season unbeaten and got to 2 cup finals too.
Real shame that they came unstuck today against Met. But (hopefully) as Meatloaf said....

Thought they were going to go through the season unbeaten, but I suppose the signs were there with them needing that late, late equaliser against the jacks - let’s hope this defeat is the jolt that makes them kick on for the rest of the season.
Having lost to Cardiff Met in the Cup Final last week, City’s women’s team are playing them again this afternoon in the league - after about an hour, they’re 6-0 up.
Correction, it’s 7-0.
Finished 9-0.
They are, Cardiff Ladies no longer have a connection with City and play in the English pyramid.

Thankyou Bob
I was confused as to who had played who particularly as a 3-1 defeat was turned into a 9-0 win a week later. Seems a bit odd to me. Perhaps Mets put out a weakened team.
I had a look at the line ups from the 3 - 1 cup loss last weekend to the 9 - 0 league win today.
10 of the 11 starters were the same for Met. They didn't put out a weakened team.
But from the reports and post match interviews City learned from their mistakes last weekend (Met apparently played the same system in both matches - which surprised City in the cup game) and they got back to the standards they set earlier in the season.

Can you bet on women’s football:sherlock:
If Cardiff City Women win today against TNS, they win the league - regardless of how Swansea do against Met.
Cardiff City Women have not lost all season in the league.
70 minutes played and it is 2 - 1 to City!

Full Time: Cardiff City 3 - 1 TNS.
Could afford to miss a second penalty too!
CARDIFF CITY ARE THE ADRAN PREMIER CHAMPIONS
All over, finished 3-1 - congratulations to the unbeaten Champions!
And the world shrugged.
Excellent
Congratulations ladies, hopefully encourage more females to attend football matches in the future. May even get a few posting on this MB again.
I've attended two under 19 ladies football games this past week, My Granddaughter plays for the MET, she missed out last Sunday being called up to the 1st's for the game against Cardiff City at the stadium, she had booked tickets for a gig at the O2 and went to the gig instead.
Final league match for Cardiff City Women (Champions) this afternoon v Swansea.
FAW Women's Cup Final a week tomorrow - Cardiff City v Briton Ferry at Penydarren Park.

i know emily roberts, city keeper no 2... very well done to them
perhaps we should all go down and support the girls as they show the men how its done
Congratulations on a marvellous achievement - presumably they're in the women's equivalent of the Champions League now?
Top stuff.
Mighty Bluebirds.:ayatollah:
My Grand Daughter made her debut (sub) yesterday for Cardiff Met 1st team V TNS, after TNS took the lead, the Met were ahead on two occasions only to eventually lose 4-5, to be on the periphery of the team after one season is IMO a great achievement for her at 17, the on the pitch language is shocking :hehe:
U19’s ladies are national champions.

Congratulations to both teams.
