Broadband , TV and Phone Package
Mine is with talktalk , 53 quid a month
How does that compare with others ?
I find them OK regarding customer service .....a lot of people don't, its just the cost I am concerned about but don't really want to have to change providers if I don't have to
-
Re: Broadband , TV and Phone Package
do t need a landline, or any TV packages, so I just pay for broadband - think it's about £50 a month

BT - actually now I think of it I think it was about £30 quid, but they're putting it up by £6 a month.
I just stream all TV these days, I haven't even connected my TV to the aerial.

You could take off your TV package and your freeview channels will still work.

Usually bundle it in with the deal.
I get 1GB with virgin broadband only for £59
I don't need a landline so don't pay for it, and I stream so don't need TV.
Their broadband only packages are expensive to get you to think about taking out their TV.

-

Sky would be cheaper and have a much better system.

Well dropping off fast fibre might help but some of them don't provide anything else

Sky are ok and customer service in Scotland not India or the far east so they actually sort any issues out properly, did for me anyway. Talk talk are absolutely shocking we’re still billing me 6 months after I left them despite hours in the phone cancelling….

I've broadband through Now(really Sky) with free landline calls £20. Current deal a bit more I think.
Why tv with TalkTalk?
Assume you havent got a Smart tv. If you haven't get yourself an Amazon firestick. About £35. No monthly payments and you dont need to subscribe to Amazon. Gives you all the catch up apps you need.
You are paying far too much for what you use TV /phone for.
-
Re: Broadband , TV and Phone Package
I’ve been with Sky since 1990, but sent them a cancellation mail yesterday. They put my package up by £45 a month and I got the same package off BT for £58 a month less.

Mine is fast fibre up to 35mbs. More than enough for Netflix and a bit of porn at the same time. 😜
Landline calls thrown on for free at £20.
Even if you cant get the deal I have with Now, you can do far better than the Talk Talk deal.you have.

The problem with changing providers is my experience is that it can be an absolute hell fest
The broadband part of the deal seems reasonable so I might try to stiff em on the landline which I need as I hate mobile phones and use my landline for everything if I can

Yes
Can't stand mobiles , only have mine for when I go walking in the mountains and get lost
-
Re: Broadband , TV and Phone Package
Been with Plusnet for about 10 years. Hardly ever had any interruption in service. Current deal is 29.50 landline and unlimited superfibre. It will go up in 18 months but I'll just switch to their latest deal then. Quite happy with Freeview, Netflix, Android Box for TV

I thought a SIM only deal would be cheaper than the landline. You could then use the phone up mountains, and make calls off your sofa...

Re: Broadband , TV and Phone Package
Ahhh! you poor souls living in the outback of Broadband. Fiber 1TB, 15 squid a month.
-
Re: Broadband , TV and Phone Package
I can understand why some people stick with broadband , gas , electricity suppliers because the stress involved in dealing with some of these clowns is enough to drive you insane
Where is the phone number where you just phone these twats up ?
Unbelievable

Yes the reason being they still only have 3 channels in Swansea. Max Boyce TV, Harry Secombe TV and the music channel plays Bonnie Tyler 24 hours a day.
