Blackpool L
Rotherham L
Wigan (irrelevant but L)
Huddersfield L
QPR D
City L
Reading D
Hopefully we can knick a point but cant see it.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The worry is that QPR and Reading will pull out a result from somewhere. Something we look uncapable of. Although Watford are a bonkers club and as Huddersfield showed can be beaten at Vicarage Rd.

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
on the sky red button

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Watched Reading v Burnley and they weren't bad......
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
It does look like its between us, QPR and Reading. Max of 2 wins will see any of those safe.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
If we show the same level of attacking intent as we did for an hour v Sheff we will get something at Watford.
On the other hand, if our defence is as suspect as it was, another defeat beckons.

Trouble with Watford is the sheer amount of individual quality they have. If Pedro or Sarr are on it then I think it'll be a long night for or defenders

Are you hedging your bets?

Lol
In all honesty I cant see us getting anything. We are so poor overall and the manager doesnt seem to be able to organise the team to make us at least difficult to beat.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Think it's between us and qpr.
Reading not easy to beat and at home aren't as awful as they were down here.
Think it's us or qpr for who can be less shit.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Wonder if the manager will shake the team up a bit. Not too many options, but Alnwick, Romeo and Davies could come into the team. Where is Colwill? Seems like Harris and Whyte have played their last games for us.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Watford are a strange team but have enough individual quality to make it tough for us. 2-0 Watford, our best hope is the Huddersfield/Rotherham games

Bellers is going to make sure we play their U12s on the last day.
Problem is we'll still lose.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Lamo will be tempted to give some key players the night off to preserve them for Stoke's visit.
It's a shame they beat Bristol City last weekend to retain an outside chance of a play-off finish.

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I’m guessing there’s no chance we’ll see Callum Robinson back before the end of the season? We really could do with him in the side for the last few games
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I suspect we will see a few changes to freshen the team up with a view to a more winnable game Saturday.
Alnwick
Romeo
Cedric
Ng
McGuinness
ODowda
Sawyers
Ralls
Wintle
Etete
Davies

We don’t have enough games left to try and chose where our points come from - though I suspect you may be right as Lamouchi does appear to like to mix things up, inexplicably sometimes!

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
City - just get something from this game - anything will do. A scrappy draw a last min goal mouth bundle - just please get something. Thanks in advance!
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Watfords record this season against the bottom 6 is not a great read ..

So you think that Rotherham and Huddersfield are safe ? Like to know how you worked that out.

Rotherham are effectively 4 points clear if you take into account their goal difference, with a game in hand.
Huddersfield have Warnock and have been in very good form over the last month and shown far more fight than anyone else involved in the relegation battle.
I agree it does look like it's between the 3 mentioned, come Saturday night it might not.

Yeah, but when we stuff them 6-0...
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Philogene might be out tomorrow, also Simpson. Colwill's still injured and Robinson's definitely out for the season ☹️
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bacuna doubtful for tomorrow.
Shame.

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Not sure I bother waking up at 2:45am for this one. They've given me no reason to lately.
Our best players are either injured (Robinson, O'Dowda) or on loan with one foot out the door (Philogene, Kipre).
Everything else is a steamy pile of useless shit.
Watford 2-0.

That was a crucial point both picked up last night, but more so hudds as we have two games in hand on them, obv tonight doesn’t really count as we are bound to lose and the other being the farce up north, another we are fated to lose after looking like winning the original game…..
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
As always at this time of season there are surprise results. Maybe we’ll get one tonight, I’m not predicting anything of course…

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This tension is getting to me. I'll be having a heart attack at this rate.
I think it best that I dont watch the game tonight or follow the scores and just wait till 10pm when I can get the bad news in one go.
Supporting your team doesn't get easier with age.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Going go tonight, any recommended pubs for Away fans ?

I found the opposite, the older I get the more I realise it’s not the be all and end all (unless we’re playing the jacks).
I’m resigned to another defeat so anything other than that is a bonus
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
And if I’m going for a prediction I’d say 1-1
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Romeo and O’Dowda start so better options at wing back tonight hopefully.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I’d love a big game for Etete but I just don’t see it, I’d have played Wickham.

Not worried about Colwill he's backup, to the backups, but Philogene is a massive loss, and Robinson is absolutely gutting!
Not the best team, not confident now, but who knows at this time in the season, things might just fall into place amd we may actually get a bit of luck.
