I think we’ll take the positivity from the Watford game, win 2-0 and escape relegation.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
Will the manager make changes from Watford?
Guess he might be tempted to freshen up the side with Philogene, Colwill and Simpson apparently fit.
If Philogene comes in it would in place of Romeo. Can't see Colwill or Simpson starting.
Sawyers will probably get the nod in midfield as he only had half an hour Weds and possibly Wickham for Etete.
Not sure we can put 2 good games together, but hopefully Stoke will be on the beach.
1-0 Bluebirds

of course he will, it's in his contract, every one game in 3 he has to pick names out of a hat to see who is playing where

Hopefully the manager now realises the last person you need in a battle is Ojo. Clever footballer but no fight in him. Watford had 11 like him Wednesday, that's why we won. Seemingly QPR have 11 like Ojo. That's why they have sunk like a stone.
At this stage of the season, in our position you need 11 battles. Not fecking fancy dans.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
Wickham is definitely missing tomorrow according to the BBC. Hamstring problem. If he was a racehorse they'd have shot him by now.

No loss. A liability.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
We need to avoid defeat
A point will edge us closer to that 48 safety margin
This side is very poor and inconsistent and it wouldn't surprise me if we lost 3 nil to undoe all the good work of Wednesday
It's the way we have been all season and its why we are in a relegation fight

We need to win. This should be our easiest game left.
51 and we are mathematically safe. Lets get there before Huddersfield.

you'd have hoped that Weds would have given them all a big boost in confidence and a decent home performance is long overdue. but we are C4rdf so anything could happen!

Was he a liability at Blackpool when he scored one and laid on the other two ? Ridiculous comment.

According to you, we are already down.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
I’m going to say exactly the same thing as what I said in the pre match thread last week. Cardiff just get something from this game a point or three - anything will do. Doesn’t matter if the football looks dire just get a result. Thanks again in advance

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
A really big game for us. A win will surely see us safe.
Don't let us down bluebirds!!!!

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
Stoke had some awful results and performances recently. However we all know nowhere better to come for a team struggling than the CCS......

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
I'm a great believer in the law of averages.....which is why I was optimistic on Wednesday. Today, applying the same thought it seems a nailed on draw to me.....hopefully I am wrong - in a good way!!
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
Sawyers back. Not sure about that selection.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
Rino played well but I guess Sabri thinks we will have more of the ball today and hopefully less chasing.

Has the CCTV commentary audio gone awry for anyone else? Sounds like they're talking from inside a goldfish bowl for me.

Yes. I'm surprised it's been allowed to go on so long.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
Time to play isaak Davies and Mark Harris at home. Shit teams coming here and having it so so easy all over the pitch cant go on. At least those 2 may make themselves known to the opposition
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
Shambolic start. Passive no pressing , no aggression. Utter shite. I have no idea what Lamouchi is thinking.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread
The last interview they showed before the game was Ralls saying "we don't want another Sunderland performance".
This is another Sunderland performance.
