You can do what you want with your money and good luck to you. You should show other people the same courtesy but that's what you fail to do; anyone who views anything remotely differently is labelled as something varying from Tory to Fascist (on the rare days you can distinguish between the two).

You've said on here before you are pretty wealthy, and again, good luck to you. That does however leave you open to claims of hypocrisy because you could give that wealth away to help others, as that's what you want others to do

You could also have a bit more humility about people less well off who view things differently, but again, you never do, you look firmly down your nose at them and make no attempt to understand their position. C’mon you know the score in the UK, the mega rich milk the revenue system, make obscene millions (or even billions) hand over fist yet promote ‘shock,horror’ should the working class ask for a few bob more. The sad thing is a lot of the working class lap up their shite, they’ll tell you that they know a train driver who’s on a grand a week, I say, fair play to them, shows what having a strong union fighting for you can achieve. That's up to voters to decide, but off the top of my head in the last few years;

1 - respected how the working class voted on Brexit and committed to enacting the result

2 - record increase in NHS spending

3 - highest rise in the minimum wage by some distance

4 - Generally more aligned in respect of views on immigration

5 - Probably more aligned in terms of issues such as gender, identity politics, national pride etc etc

There are other arguments to counter that of course. But if you think 'left wing' parties are automatically aligned to the working class I'd say you are very mistaken. There is nothing working class about the guardian, or your average green councillor for example.

I know plenty of tradies doing better in the last few years than ever before for example.

What do the left offer that is generally better? We have a left wing govt in Wales, how are we any better?

Surely most of them offer a plunder of those on "comfortable " incomes. Millions of people who have nothing looking for a Messiah who promises to make their life better. Usually because some alien is taking away what little they have. These parties aka a charismatic leader, Johnson, Trump, etc, offer magic cures from people's misery. It takes time for the "working class" to suss the shysters.

The PM and deputy at the time (both Tories) were passionate advocates for Remain as well, so your argument really doesn't stack up any level.

Like it or not the working class largely voted leave. The Tories generally respected that, Labour generally didn't. And that's largely why the red ones lost in 2019.

You may not like it, but it's true. Now we've left, great swathes of seats are wide open again and many will very likely go to Labour.

I really like or liked Paul Embery…as I’ve not really bothered looking into what he has to say about things nowadays.

“Lexit” is something that a sizable amount of the left have failed to wrap their heads around.

The barbs fired to this day at working class left leaning voters for the Brexit decisions by “socialist remainers” sickens me as does
the scorn that the likes of Emily Thornberry cast over “White Van Man”.

C2DE’s are viewed the same by middle class “socialists” as they are by Tory’s IMO.

I think you misunderstand

There is no doubt that working class people in areas that benefitted from European aid voted to leave

The idea that the Tories respected that view is ridiculous as the vast majority of tory voters and tory mps were and are anti Europe
