I'm actually looking forward to the Ipswich game. I think it's Live tonight? I need to cleanse my palate.
Despite a good fight, the chirpy stockpiler of mediocrity, Steve Morison, was unable to stop Sutton getting relegated.
Huddersfield down bar a huge win for them on the final day and an even bigger loss for Plymouth.
Some great final day fixtures
Birmingham v Norwich
and
Plymouth v Hull
West Brom, who have generally been regarded as certs for the Play Offs are now down to sixth, but you’d expect them to win at home to Preston.
Elsewhere Sky showed Colchester v Crewe.
Colchester needed a point to guarantee safety, Crewe a point to guarantee a play off spot.
It finished 1-1.
Hull 0 Ipswich 1
can we offer them 10m+ for Mckenna?-
Chalk and cheese watching how Hull and Ipswich play vs Bulutball.
Hull 2 Ipswich 2......if our games could be half as exciting as this one............
Three goals conceded and Allsop not at fault with any of them - great game, if Ipswich hang on, they’re as good as up when you consider they play Huddersfield at home on the final day.
Allsop had made some good saves tonight....
Allsop been excellent, will be truly ironic if Ipswich get kept from going up by his shot stopping prowess after all the softies from outside the box he let in for us.
3-3.
Awful goalkeeping at the other end
hope they both lose
Great game ..have to say KM done bugger all since he came on....
moore piss useless as usual
Interesting there was not a single mention in this thread of Villa v Chelsea which was being played at the same time as the Hull match.
Another thing from yesterday was that Solihull Moors beat Barnet in the National League play-off semi-final. With Bromley playing Altrincham in the other at the moment (HT 1-0 to Altrincham), there'll be a new name in the league next year. Altrincham won the division twice back in the late 70s/early 80s but were denied, I assume, by the league clubs voting them down, so maybe they're belatedly due.
Spoke too soon; Bromley have equalised. Edit: and gone ahead. Sorry, Altrincham.
