My dad and nephew go to Ross County games a fair bit and they think he's tidied up their midfield a lot. Really not sure how the level compares though, very hard to tell.Quote:

The chances of Tan releasing sufficient transfer funds for us to get promoted next season is extremely limited. Watching Bulut's football dirge for 46 games with a team of has beans whilst we fight for positions 10-15 is not very appealing.
We won't have as many lucky wins next season and probably Bulut will be sacked by Christmas, but not before he has signed a few more Siopis's on 3 year deals. These players will then become a burden to a subsequent manager(s) and to the clubs ability to move forward.
I'd still prefer a young manager who plays attractive football and gives the kids a chance (where warranted) whilst we fight for positions 10-15.
King, Colwill x 2 , Ashford, Tanner and Isaak Davies should all be involved next season.

The thing we keep doing is filling the squad with capable average players which just blocks the youngsters progressing. I'd much rather see a team with a handful of top quality players and a majority of youngsters - getting game time.Quote:

The assertion that King was 'hardly tearing up trees' is not really accurate. He had excellent reviews and won his clubs young player of the year award despite being with them only 6 months. I accept that he was in the match day squad a lot and made many sub appearances. But in the 18 months prior and including Dec '21 he had been 1st choice.
I was very excited when we signed him as I, like you, had believed he was still a major player for Celtic. However after after looking at the stats, speaking to my golfing buddy who is a Celtic fan (yes, I know how clichéd that sounds) and watching him, that excitement soon subsided. He may still come good, though.
I wonder if he had a bad injury in Dec '21? His fall from grace appears very sudden and he doesn't even make sub appearances in the very early part of 2022.

We have a few promising players whove come through our system the Colwills , Ashford , Davies , King , Conte.
Noone really knows if they can kick on and be 1st team regulars. My worry with Bulut is they wont even get a decent opportunity.
