I normally do, but have a lot of work going on at the moment and the tips are adding up :sherlock:

Yes totally agree with this I've got a good mate who always does a cheap job but I always make sure that he's paid properly. I've also got no issue to not tip if it's a one-off job. My problem is more when it's someone used more often but not "mates" if that makes sense, when you know you'll have them back at some pointQuote:

I might have once, but don't think I have since.
What i do though is pay them in full within 24 hours of them finishing the job. I hope that's appreciated more than if I give them an extra few £.
Not generally, I did have a guy come in and skim some walls, paint and a few bits, he was much cheaper than expected and did a very good job, gave him and the lad an extra £20 each for a drink, in the hope if I need him again he sees it as a good job to come back to.
