Message board view help
For some reason the message board has changed to a mobile view (I think). I’m sure when this has happened before there has been a “full view” or something like that at the bottom but I can’t seem to see it anymore.
Anyone help.

Re: Message board view help
You on your phone or laptop?
-
Re: Message board view help
I’m on my phone but there has always been the option to select desktop view.
-
Re: Message board view help
I know what you mean- can't find it myself either.
-
Re: Message board view help
There should be a "view desktop site" or something similar in the browser settings.
-
Re: Message board view help
On the phone it should say
'Full Site'
at the bottom. That should change it back to the desktop view
-
Re: Message board view help
It used to, but it’s gone now?

Are you signed in on the mobile view?
Do you see
Log In | Register | Top
at the bottom of the site
If so you need to log in and you will see
Log Out | Full Site | Top

Re: Message board view help
I’m logged in and it just says
Log out / Top

It will depend on which browser you are using, Chrome, Edge, Firefox? If you can tell us which one then we maybe able talk you through how to find the settings.

Re: Message board view help
Pick the phone up .
Raise above your head
Lean back.
Place left hand on something fixed.
Use the right hand to slam the phone into the nearest solid object .
Power of and on .
Should see a difference.
Repeat if needed .

Re: Message board view help
I have had the same problem since switching phones a couple of months ago. The full site button is definitely not there.
I hate mobile view.

I don't use an iPhone or Safari, so can't vouch for this, but this should do it https://www.guidingtech.com/how-to-r...hone-and-ipad/

Go to three dots at the top right, and scroll down and check the Desktop site button.

Sadly it keeps changing back but only a few clicks and it’s back.

If you use Safari then click the Aa at the left of the address bar and there is an option to change to desktop.
But you need to do it every time which is annoying but a work around.

Sir/Madam/whatever :hehe:, you are a saint
So simple, even an idiot like me could follow that :hehe:
Let’s see if some intelligent geek can sort out how to make it permanent
Thank you

Why don't you make ccmb your default page, and when you turn on your computer it will go straight to ccmb site.

But it will it default to the desktop view by making it the homepage? And maybe the poster doesn't want CCMB as his default page

Mine doesn't it defaults to desktop view, if when you change it you state the current website you are viewing that page comes up all the time. I would not be surprised if he still has Safari as his homepage so it would not be a problem.
