The gunman was just 20 years of age. His life gone.
Set up
How fortunate was Trump that he head was turned to the right, so the shot clipped his ear. If he'd been facing the front it,in all likelihood, would have hit him side on.
Was having a conversation just last week about it being incredible in a country where so many people own guns and politics is so toxic that nobody has tried to shoot Trump or Biden. Security wherever they go must be immense.
Can see this escalating big time now though. Very worrying.
Not the first and won’t be the last bullet that Trump dodges
Farage on Sky
" Yes Donald Trump isn't perfect but some of the stuff said about him is appalling ! "
Are you taking the piss Farage ? Trump is totally disgraceful as a person and in what he says
He encouraged his nutty followers to storm government buildings and overturn democracy , the violence used by his crew was shocking
No wonder an equivalent lunatic has tried to take him out
Sebastian Gorka is on sky too , another absolute fruit cake
You are seriously calling someone else a political nutter🥱
You - the card carrying founding member of the political hate brigade. A man who hates anyone who perhaps chooses to vote for a party you don’t.
Someone tried to steal a policeman's gun to shoot him at Las Vegas in 2016

Some electronic billboard owner immediately put up a message that the Democrats had tried to assassinate Trump; another nutter told a reporter that Biden had paid the guy to do it.
Some republican nutter could well try to even the score.
Mad country.
Redneck on news
I don't wanna get political but it's all caused by the Democrats
Pointless speculating until you know the full story.
What is needed is a rapid dialing down of the rhetoric and far more open minds and open ears to listen to different opinions without demonising them.
He was apparently a registered Republican. I don't know how well you understand the American electoral system, but in the 2022 election cycle tens of thousands of Democrats re-registered as Republicans so as to "support" the candidates they considered weakest in the Republican primaries. It is universally acknowledged that they had some success with this tactic.
I have personal experience with this sleaziness. About 15 years ago I was surprised to learn that a very lefty co-worker was a registered Republican. He said he did it to interfere with the Republican primaries.
Tellingly, this would-be assassin made a $15 contribution to Act Blue, which is the major fundraising arm of the left.
I think his "Republican" identity is pretty threadbare.
can't see trump losing it from here, this will play very well for him.
Jim, you use the nuanced, balanced, fair mantra as a way of belittling other people and their views, it's your way of saying that people who don't agree with you are insignificant, but you just can't say that (Although sometimes you slip up) You use thee tactics even when someone is bang to rights, instead of saying what you really think.
Trump survives; but will the USA and the Free World???
