It was supposed to go unnoticed, you've opened Pandora's box. The big hitters have to stay silent or if not, support the 2nd hit on working people who are on low wages and the pensioners, by defending another disgraceful policy by #Two Tier.

Oh christ he's off again
Two Tier .......so when Asian rioters attacking white protestors in Manchester etc are given the same sentences as far right protestors attacking Asian businesses , mosques etc .....you think that's two tier justice ?
Very odd

Charities fear double energy price hit for pensioners
Caroline Abrahams, charity director at Age UK, said, that the "reckless" plans would have a huge impact on pensioners on low and modest incomes, as well as those living in vulnerable circumstances due to ill health.
Two Tier Kier strikes again

Re: Labour Election Promises (Broken) Thread
The latest is the Labour Party carried out a full impact assessment of the winter fuel decesion.
They are not experts independent bodies should do this
My question is :
Did they check the amount of pensioners not claiming pension credit estimates are upwards of 800k .
Itscreported by independent bodies / charities the £1.4bn saving could become a cost of £3.8bn as pension credit applications grow.
Fuel capping decesion may see the bigger energy price this winter.
Pensioners in the middle income using the benefit to help with the sprialling effects of Xmas spends on food and grandkids.
Hypocrisy politics at its best .
Step bavk and ask yourself what some would call Truss or Boris , if they made this decision .

You have managed to revert to type again. As far as I know this particular thread is about the Labour Party, so an informed response is perfectly reasonable in this regard. No conspiracy theories here despite what you are suggesting

What do you mean when you say that "As far as you know" this thread is about the Labour Party, you posted it!
So we are clear, which of its manifesto promises (broken) has it broken so we are clear in the thread you initiated?

You just try to hard at times ( just try and keep it simple. All the information it there , if you think it’s worth a debate then go for it ) rather than acting like a primary school teacher.

So the net result of this will be that pensioners who are genuinely struggling and need the money to live will get more (via claiming pension credit and keeping the wfa) and those who don't need it at all will get less? How terrible...

Not a problem, we all knew you would be unable to substantiate your statement when challenged. Then again, if I was a primary school teacher I would probably focus on your regular use of the word "to" when you mean "too"!

Saying that you wouldn’t get a job as a primary school teacher as you wouldn’t pass the CRB check…..

What like stalking someone on a football forum ?, now that is embarrassing, early flight in the morning so it'll probably be a while before you continue your strange behavior in this direction. A few posters on here seem to have taken to this recently its an odd creepy behavior. Maybe i;ll have to do what others do and change ID when i return.

Nels, I recall that you confess to wanting to wind people up so I would put this response in that category. Otherwise it might look a bit silly starting a contribution to a thread calling out the "big hitters" then a few posts later complaining about being stalked when challenged on it!
As for changing ID, obviously your prerogative, but as quite a lot of your language is culled from your social media feeds such as Trust the Plan, the installed one, Brandon, Big Mike and latterly kneepads and two tier, how soon before the new you morphs back to the old one?

Guy who goes round calling women Big Mike and Kneepads starts crying and talking about stalking and changing his username when someone pulls him up on something. Predictable.

“Pulls him up” shut up you whopper , he’s probably frustrated knowing the so called big hitters say far too much behind the comfort of their keyboards. They would probably get a clip in any other scenario and they know it.
Just stick to the original thread people it’s going to run and run

As it is going to run what promises have they currently broken? Certainly nothing you have mentioned so far.
If you had started a thread saying Labour now is talking a different game than before the election you would have few detractors. However it is phrased around promises (manifesto commitments) it made. The dancefloor is yours to set them out.

As I said this thread is going to run and run , if you think otherwise just let it go and simply reply to threads which you resonate with.

They didn't promise not to scrap the winter fuel payment and they won't be for those in receipt of pensions credits. Handing to to all pensioners and not making it means tested was a gross waste of taxpayers money.
Energy Bills will increase in October and Energy Companies have been profiteering so they can expect to be taxed on these in the upcoming Autumn Statement. I would like a Government who breaks the link between Gas and Electricity Prices which means Electricity costs are artificially high. The last one had 14 years to do something about our energy sector but didn't.
Some other taxes will rise in the Autumn but the big three won't. Anyone who thought they meant no taxes would rise were incredibly naive or just plain stupid.

Re: Labour Election Promises (Broken) Thread
I think the biggest single worrying aspect of the new Labour government is that......it sounds just like the old Tory government....and the government before that....and the government before that......

Literally every single contribution of yours is from behind the comfort of your keyboard, just like everybody else

Why would anyone want to do that? This place is just somewhere to sound off and talk a bit of nonsense, waste a bit of time. It's pretty much a load of bollocks..

Re: Labour Election Promises (Broken) Thread
10 million pensioners will lose their Winter Fuel Payment. Labour said nothing about that in their manifesto, so have no democratic mandate to do it and pensioners will rightly feel betrayed. If this were a tory government decision then the social comedian Sludge would be all over it - Two Tier Sludge.

I can do a tea with you but I don't drink alcohol while I'm in training for my next super heavyweight ultimate bare knuckle boxing fight, there's no way I'm risking losing my 52-0-0 (52 KO's) record
