Riza said that this is a must not lose game. Wonder if he'll go 5 at the back. Will def be defensive changes.

Reminding us already that we're playing again on Saturday is just cruel 😁

Must have missed Judy's free transfer! Is she in the building, on the grass or just going through the protocols?

She’s making up a back four with the Tin Man, Scarecrow & Cowardly Lion, who’ve unbelievably kept their places.

Still looking for a heart, courage and brains.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
To be fair, we'll probably draw this one 1-1 or scrape a 2-1 win

It's so unfair that we have to play teams above us so often, and teams like Leeds are playing weaker teams all the time.

well, not probably, but all of our wins have been home (4) and all of our draws have been away (5) we just seem to be a bit more composed away, bar burnley I guess, grinding out draws. I don't know, it's all a guess really, I just feel more confident on a bore draw away

What’s happened to sale on the day tickets? Seems very rare now it’s an option.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Match Facts:
- Stoke City have failed to win any of their past eight league games against Cardiff City (D5 L3) since a 2-0 home win in February 2020.
- Cardiff are unbeaten in their past four away league games against Stoke (W1 D3), with each of the past three ending in a draw.
- Stoke have won just one of their past six home league games (D4 L1) and could fail to score in three successive such games for the first time since December 2023.
- Cardiff are winless in 11 successive away league games (D5 L6); their longest such run since November 2014; they last endured a longer such run in March 2014 as a Premier League side (13 games).
- Cardiff have shipped 37 away league goals in 2024, their most in a single year since 2019 (also 37), last conceding more back in 2014 (41).

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The league is starting to stretch at the bottom. If we fail to start winning very soon, we could easily be cast adrift.
Fancy us for a draw
1-1

It’s “red card” weekend, so they can go Christmas shopping with the Mrs

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Exclude the opening day defeat, we've done the following:
6 games in the league without a win
6 games in the league without defeat
6 games in the league without a win
Time to start 6 games in the league without defeat on Saturday.

It's gone dark around here - there's a herd of flying pigs blocking out the sun.

Our worst run away for over 10 years. Yet a perception seems to be we are better away?

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Stoke 5 club formally known as Cardiff city 1

Yep, 1999/2000. In 1996 we managed 16 games without a win away from home. 1932/33 was the crowning moment here, though. Didn't win away all season and went a total of 23 aways without a win, drawing only 3.

Couple of surprises in there, but something had to be done to reverse the shit shows recently.
Assume it's usual433, but a chance it's 532 with Rinhomota at rb

No NG at all - injured or dropped? It’s 5 at the back isn’t it with Rinhomota at RB?

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Left back seems to have a revolving door.
