They were not proper Old Firm Derby’s with no away fans. As you say it was the atmosphere that made them special. They lost that with the away fans ban. Some great derbys in the 90s where pretty much every player on both sides was a household name.Quote:

I have watched the Rangers Celtic game in O neills full of Celtic fans a couple of years ago , Rangers scored (we cheered) and won . The Celtic fans who knew me came up and congratulated me at the final whistle. If I had done that in Glasgow I wouldn't be alive to type this.
